131-4CW 3-Way Low Boy Pump - Pump, White, 4 inch x 4 inch x 2.5 inch

I had just bought a used Pop-up that was in excellent overall condition. The first time I hooked up to city water, the stock faucet had a hairline crack that was spraying water under the sink. The stock faucet was all plastic and the pump handle was not that great. I did not like it even before I tried to use it, definitely cheep. The Low Boy is sleek and easy to use, has the chrome spout that makes it easy to clean. I got the one that can use an electrical pump in case I decide to get the pump to upgrade the system, but don't think I will need it. Everywhere I have gone has city water hook-up. I recommend replacing cheep stock faucets with the Low Boy even if your stock faucet is not broken. I'm actually glad the stock faucet was broken when I bought the Pop-up so I never had to use the stocked crap.

I'd became very concerned about replacing the old faucet to our Coleman pop-up camper. I'd seen this on your site and could see it might just work. (Which it did.) Thanks again for your site. Ok, lets be honest here. The packaging and instructions look so dated you would think they shipped this thing from 1979. I can just imaging the front office where make these things - wood paneled walls, secretaries making coffee and a guy in a leisure suite smoking in his office. I think the workers on the factory floor even bring their lunches in a metal arch-top lunch pail. The instructions look like a copy of a copy of a fax of a copy. I don't think they web site, email address a computer that doesn't have a 5 1/4" floppy drive. They may not even know their products are being sold on the world wide web. This seems to be the case with a lot of camping accessories. Especially for pop-ups. Its like the entire industry is being dragged kicking and screaming in the 21st century. But beyond that the product works. Like some others, the first one I got leaked like a sieve. I sent it back to Amazon, got a replacement and that one worked. Mine was an exact replacement to my equally old Jayco pop-up. I also added a Seaflo New 12V Water Pressure Diaphragm Pump 4.3 L/min 1.2 GPM 35 PSI Caravan/RV/Boat/Marine in the compartment where the water tank is located. I just had to put in a T connector with one end going to the hand-pump directly and the other going to the electric pump and then to the hand pump. The center threaded connector is for utility hook-up if the campground has it available. The wiring was easy. I was all worried about whether it should be on the 'hot' or 'return' wire but in the end I don't think it matters. The hand-pump comes with a loop of wire hanging off the bottom. Just cut that in the middle and treat the ends like incoming and outgoing. It doesn't matter which is which (or witch!) and connect your wiring to them. When you pull up on the lever it connects some metal posts to a bracket inside the pump and completes the electrical circuit and the electric pump runs. I don't think it is supposed to stay on when you use the electric pump but mines does at least when the tank is not near empty. So maybe mine is just a bit stiff since it is new and over time I will lose that 'feature'. If it had that as a true built-in feature I would give it 5 stars.

I needed a replacement for my ShurFlo Water Wizard faucet/pump in my 1998 Coleman Destiny Mesa. The ShurFlo pump I had hasn't been made in 10 years and the company referred me to the Low Boy. The old ShurFlo Water Wizard pump was nice and had double-action on the hand pump to the potable water tank on the camper. For street water, you simply turned the knob open and you could run water hands free. It also had a nice trim cap to hide the fastener screws that held it to the counter-top. The Low Boy is NOT double-action, is NOT hands free to street water and does NOT have any trim or screw caps to hide the fastener screws. The action to pump the water seems just a bit harder and not being double action produces less water with more work. To engage street water you must press the handle down with some force and you must hold it when you want water (that's a pain). Also, this pump has three ports for water (1) Street (2) Water Tank (3) Electric pump. For any ports that you do not use, YOU MUST CAP or it will leak. Plus, if you want to use the water tank, you have to have those unused ports capped, the pump will not prime due to not having pressure. It will just suck air from the uncapped port. **The pump DOES NOT come with any caps. You will need to make a trip to the hardware store. Why they couldn't throw in a cap or two is beyond me...very frustrating... The good thing about it is that the screw holes line up perfectly to the ShurFlo alignment. I only needed to make a slight modification to the overall opening to fit the pump in properly. I used a "MicroPlane disc cutter" on my cordless drill, which worked great!! You either need that, a jig saw, or a drum sander for your cordless drill. The pump is low profile, which I do like a lot. It also seems to be very solid and well built. The revealing fastener screws aren't a huge deal...it is a camper, but it would be a nice feature for future improvement to the product.

Used it in a pop up camper we had. Worked well and the only thing I had to do for the installation was make the opening in the counter top about a half inch larger. I could not get a direct replacement from the factory and this worked great. All the tubing was the same size.

I know this is the most popular trailer/camper faucet on Amazon and I bought it to replace a broken one on my old camper. At $40 plus dollars, it's a little steep for what it does. I received it quickly with Prime and instantly noticed the cheapness. The wires inside that make the 12 volt connection were crooked on one side, so it was unable to make a connection. I had to tear the unit apart and use needle nose pliers to bend the connection up enough to make contact with the terminals. This was a brand new unit, mind you. When powered the water worked fine, however the "pump" feature when you're boondocking didn't really work, you get a few squirts before it's easier to just pour water from an external tank. Hasn't been installed long and already the seal between the diaphram and cover has worn out, causing a major leak. I could have tried to fix it yet again, but instead I bought a single tap faucet and will make a custom base/fitting to use instead of relying on this piece of junk.

Installed in half hour and had it running after and hour. Works great and I like how the handle works as the power switch for the electric pump.

I absolutely love the versatility of this faucet. I used it as a replacement in my 1987 Coachmen Camper. It's great to have the option of manual pump, electric pump or city water.
