Great QUIET car toy that actually holds my tot's attention!
I bought this for my 20-month old in preparation for a long car ride (3.5 hours). She's into buckles in the first place and likes to buckle herself into her high chair and also likes to fasten the chest clip on her carseat. She wasn't quite sure what to do at first but once we walked her through all the different buckles she LOVED it. I can't believe how long this keeps her busy. She will work on it for 20 minutes at a time, quietly talking to herself or occasionally telling me proudly that she got one of the colors -- "burple! geen!". I was worried she'd be able to do but not undo, but the only buckles she can't undo herself are the 'standard' ones that you really have to squeeze hard. Honestly, at first I thought $20 was a little much for this but it's worth every penny. She talks about the colors, she talks about the animals under the flaps, it's practice matching, it's hand eye coordination -- this is probably the best toy I've ever bought for her. She's also in that phase where she hates getting in her car seat and I used to try to bribe her with snacks or books and it was 50/50. What works every time? BUCKLES. This has to go in the house with us every night and I get an earful the whooooole car ride if I forget it in the morning. I don't worry about this in the car either since it's relatively soft -- not the worst thing to have thrown at me, lol. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

Keeps attention of 1 1/2 year old, helps w/ fine motor skills
I got this toy for my 1 1/2 year old because he seemed very preoccupied with buckles on the changing table, high chair, stroller, wagon, etc. He loves this. It's a great item to keep him entertained in his crib or playpen when I'm preparing dinner or doing something that doesn't allow me to watch him closely. He's figured out how to buckle almost all the buckles, and even figured out that some buckles can be put together with different colors. It's still challenging for him because he struggles to unbuckle most of them. I recommend this buckle toy because it appears to help with fine motor skills -- something I didn't realize was so important until my older child (who excels academically) started school and struggled to zip his jacket properly and couldn't open twist-off water bottles, applesauce pouches, etc.

Highly Recommended!
The Buckle Toy (or as we call it, the Buckle Pillow) is a perfect developing hand eye coordination, as well as developing color matching skills. The Problem solving skills my toddler has developed using the buckle pillow have been well worth the money spent. And he feels good about accomplishing the task each time. I do have to say, when I first got the package, I have to say, I was a little disappointed by the size of the buckle pillow. Even my husband commented on how small it seemed. However, in the hands of our toddler, it's just the right size to manipulate all the buckles. The Buckle Pillow is just right for traveling. We took this on a plane trip with us and our then 15 month old was entertained for quite some time! When my son plays with The Buckle Pillow there is a real sense of accomplishment when he finishes buckling all of them up. And though my 20 Month old still hasn't figured out how to take apart some of the buckles, so he still needs my help when playing with the toy, but I don't mind at all. He brings it over to me and I unbuckle them for him to play again. I look forward to him growing into it and being able to unbuckle it himself though as well. My little guy LOVES his Buckle Pillow! And Mom gives it five stars too! I can see the Buckle Pillow being a well loved toy for years to come.

Great for busy little fingers
I got this for my grandson's 2nd birthday and I think he's really going to like it. The buckles are just the right size and seem challenging, but not too hard to do up or take apart. Anything too difficult would bring on an attack of the terrible two's and end up at the bottom of the toy box. Seems well made.

Great toy
First test, My granddaughter loves it, so that should be 5 stars, I only knocked one off because I think the buckles should be a larger size (for smaller hands to manipulate), these are half inch buckles, three quarter or 1 inch would be easier to hold (although may be harder to open). Also if the straps were about an inch longer (each) it would give more slack to be able to grab on to and maybe a little less frustration. I love that the buckles are color coded for matching, and my granddaughter plays with it obsessively, so overall great product, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Buckle Toy

Perfect size for travel!
We bought this to keep our child occupied while in the vehicle and also to use to prop her head up if she fell asleep. The buckles snap together fairly easily (she's only a year and a half old) and the material is very soft and still durable. The snaps are a little too difficult fer her to get apart herself, but that is manageable. They are also made in a way that don't pinch your fingers when snapping them together. The color-matching buckles also make it easier for your child to figure out which ones go together! I would definitely recommend this to anyone because it is safe, durable and entertaining.

Excellent quiet toy
This toy keeps my 18 month old daughter occupied for up to 15 minutes at a time. The buckles vary in difficulty, so she can now snap a few, but not all, meaning the toy will be useful for a while. She enjoys not only the buckles, but the flaps that hide animals underneath and the zipper portion. I was way buying this for the price, but it really is fantastic. Great for flights and restaurants, easy to pack in her diaper bag, and fun to help her with when we play together.

Perfect for a toddler!
I remembered first hearing about this toy on a blog awhile ago and decided to get it for my daughter who is just now 1.5 years old. I figured she would be at the right age that this would be fun and challenging enough to keep her attention. I was completely right! The "Bizzy" pillow has 6 buckles plus numbered flaps on the other side of the pillow with animal pictures under the flaps. Of the buckles, three of the buckles are 3 pronged and 3 of them are "push button" buckles. She almost has the enough of a pinch grasp to unbuckle the 3 prong buckles, but I do have to help her a bit. She loves to look under the flaps and say the animal sounds too. As she grows this can be used to help teach numbers and colors too. I'm completely happy with this and will be looking at buying a different buckle pillow for her for Christmas.

Durable and fun
The kids at my daycare have been using it for years and it's still has good as when I bought it. Year after year the toddlers love interacting with it and finding where each buckle goes. They love hiding toys in the pocket or simply putting their hand in it. Would recommend for any 18-24 months old.

Huge success
Very pricey for what it is....BUT....it kept my 2-year-old entertained for most of a 16-hour flight! My son loved this toy and played with it for the first time on the flight. He was entertained for the flight there AND back. Of course afterwards, he mastered the skill, but still loves the toy. I've seen other moms handy enough to sew something similar, but with the cost of goods nowadays, this purchase really doesn't seem so bad. Great purchase for us!

Keeps busy tot occupied!
Bought it for my 18m old to keep him busy on flights and it worked well. He loves playing with buckles right now so this is the perfect toy. The colours are great, and the buckles all work.
