Overall seems like a good brush to have. The problem I see is the brush end that retracts does not have a cover to keep dirt out. The last thing I want to do is brush a lens with a dirty brush! So, I 3D printed a cover for it.

Celestron Optical Cleaning Brush is of Outstanding Quality & Well Designed For Indefinite Use. Great for all types of Optical Surfaces: binoculars, telescopes, microscopes and all other precision made optical devices. Make sure to use clean medical type gloves and free of and powders to prevent "finger oils" from damaging the brush surfaces. I use a Optical Blower first, and then use the brush. For more serious cleaning use quality lens tissue slightly moistened with "Len Cleaning Fluid." For visual tips go to "Youtube" and look up professional lens cleaning.

The bundle comes with everything you need to take care of your lenses. It’s gentle on the lenses and makes sure there is no scratches on it. It is also very easy to use and portable so you can carry it wherever.

Love it. Works well to clean the eyepieces for my telescope. Goes great with my Celestron 1.25" kit. I know a lot of people say they aren't happy with it because it doesn't clean as good as a cloth, but it's not really meant to. It's a portable, convenient way to clean your eyepieces and your telescope lenses while you're in the field, which, to me, is well worth it. I don't really carry any kind of cleaning supplies, like glass cleaner or cloths, when I'm going to a field for Astronomy purposes. For $5, I just had to buy this. I couldn't be happier with it. Have some friends in my clubs that use it as well. Love Celestron and their products.

Didn't like using a cloth to wipe down the lens so I started to use a lenspens.Celestron version is really nice,removed a finger mark with ease and left no residue,make sure you twist the cap a few times to remove any of the dirt removed so it won't get stuck in the tip.A lenspen is better since it provides precise areas that needs to be clean and you can see the progress compared to a cloth.Use a blower or brush to remove any dirt first then use the lenspen.I remember a friend of my bought some cheap lenspen off Ebay and he mentioned the tips was way too stiff and actually made the lens mark even worst.He threw them all away,it's not worth saving a few dollars compare to the possibility of scratching your glass.

Cleans my refractor lens and eyepieces lens perfectly 👌 Don't use it on Newtonian reflector mirrors.
