After 6 years of service, running at least 3x's ...
After 6 years of service, running at least 3x's per week, my KitchenAid dishwasher began stopping after 10 minutes into the cycle and displaying blinking lights. I replaced the Thermal fuse, but that didn't solve the problem - I've read similar posts with this issue so I picked up this control board and swapped out the old one. I found that the old board had an obvious burn mark by one of the main connectors. It's only been a couple of days since the replacement, but everything is working perfectly again. If you've got a torx driver set and have some time, try this part before you call a repair man or decide to replace your dishwasher.

Worked perfectly for our KitchenAid dishwasher
We'd been having problems for many months and eventually decided it had to be the control board. We ordered this replacement, it was pretty easy to install, and the dishwasher has been working perfectly since.

Beware buying the “Used/Returned” Dishwasher parts from this seller.
I purchased the Amazon Warehouse item to save a little money. I assumed these would still be quality parts that were bought in error. That was not the case. I bought a circuit board that was defective on arrival, but did allow 3 wash functions of the 7 to work. That continued for 2 weeks and The whole circuit board crapped out. So I did an Amazon return and the only option was for the same one in the same condition, so I tried again. This one was completely dead on arrival. Just in case, I spent money on a new thermal fuse (which can also cause the machine to not power on) but the dishwasher still didn’t power on and after buying a multimeter I confirmed that power was on from the fuse-it was the circuit board that still seems to be the point of failure. I just bought the new board and will wait another week or so for this one and do the replacement again. Buyer beware if you buy a returned item. I have never had a problem buying new or returned parts or items from Amazon but clearly someone is not pulling the defective units out of the returns and are instead reselling. Definitely bad business on this one. And don’t bother calling Whirlpool as Amazon advises you to do if you need to return. They don’t support the parts sold on Amazon. I hope the review the new part and give it a good review. I am not a repair person-just a homeowner who can’t afford a new dishwasher right now and it stinks having to do this 3 times. But I suppose I could now turn this into a part time gig. I’m getting pretty good at it.

Did not fix problem
This board did not fix my dishwashers problems. The cycles still get mixed up and don't complete. Possibly the problem lies elsewhere, or possibly the board was faulty when I received it. It did fit and replacement of the old board was easy.

Control Board Works Well!
This was about a 15 minute job. Just remember you need the proper Torx tool/socket/bit to remove the screws. Be wary of using a drill as the plastic mounts the screws insert into can crack or break. Easy enough to loosen by hand...Also consider finding a replacement for the Control Board AND Panel together. I read this suggestion somewhere else and now wish I had followed their advice as my Panel must now be replaced. Apparently, according to other reading, when one goes - the other's not far behind. No fault of this piece however. It's working as promised...

Didn't solve my issue, but CS was good
It worked great at first. Was able to run a load, but than a few weeks later it started doing the same thing as before (not working and blinking). Having to call a service repair man to fix it... Not sure if it's the product or my dishwasher. But the customer service department was helpful in letting me return the product.

Works great, but it wasn't the only bad part
The board works fine, but I also had to replace the dispenser and the control panel. Before replacing this board I'd recommend testing the dispenser solenoid with an ohmmeter. It should read several hundred ohms. Total parts plus express shipping added up to a third of the retail price of the washer, but it is now working better than it has for a couple of years. The washer is well designed from a repair standpoint. The parts were easy to replace.

Works!
For those needing some written instructions....HERE YOU GO. Take the 6 torx screws loose and pull down the face. Pop out the bi-metal fuse that is in the current board. Unhook the wires attached. Pop out the old board. Attach the wires to new board. Put the bi-metal fuse back in the board. Re-attach the face on the dishwasher. Be sure to unplug from the outlet before starting. When finished plug dishwasher back in. This fixed my problem.
