Perfect for my needs
I run a Christmas light show in my yard. I bought this to replace my original transmitter, which stopped working (and was rather weak even when it was working). This one has been working just fine and sends a slightly stronger signal (better antenna, too) so it is more effective. It is strong enough on the low power setting to get a good signal out to cover almost a full suburban block. No neighbors have complained about the signal bleeding into any of their electronics and I have not experienced any interference inside my house.I only use it about 2 months a year so it will be a few years before I can determine durability. But even if it only works 4 or 5 years, at this price I can buy another one then.I work the audio-video at my church. If we had a need to broadcast via FM, I would certainly give this one a try. Based on my personal home-experience, I would expect to have success in a parking lot. Might also work for a drive-in movie business.

Works but has to much hum, it does not matter what station you choose. Want to use with Sirius radio
Purchased to use with Sirius radio receiver to get better reception in front and back yard.. It works but has to much feedback hum, it does not matter what station you choose, or position in room away from computer and stereo receiver.. Also pre-amp output from Sirius radio has to be turned down to like half or you get distortion from the FM transmitter with my FM headphones.. Never seen this before, so can't really use it, could be just my neighborhood but either way it just does not work for what I need.. Me the old engineer is very unhappy, but will try other things before I give up..Update: Returned it, did not want to deal with it anymore, purchased the smaller one CZE-05B 1/2 watt unit.. Yea this is just fine, sealed unit no noisy fan on this one.. Hum is very very low to the point of pretty much not there, even on shelf above computer monitor and just a couple of feet from receiver.. Very happy good for at least 150 feet, wow lady luck is OK for this China crap this time..

No way is this thing Part 15 compliant, but it does work well (with some quirks)
According to my forward power meter, this transmitter operates at 880 milliwatts PEP on low power and 5.9 watts PEP on high power, and it always defaults to high power when you turn it on. The process to configure it for low-power operation is fiddly and often doesn't work. So basically, it's a 6-watt FM exciter. FCC Part 15 limits transmitters in this category to 100 milliwatts, so it's up to you to build an extremely inefficient antenna that will lower ERP while at the same time not burning up the transmitter through high SWR and impedance mismatching. You won't be able to do that unless you are a skilled ham radio person or broadcast engineer, so prepare to ride dirty. The bottom line is this: Even though it comes with Part 15 paperwork, it is technically not legal to use in the USA. Make darn sure you are not using this transmitter on an occupied frequency. If you interfere with a broadcast station using this unit, fines can be debilitating. All that said, it works very well and sounds great in stereo. I can have all the vintage stereo gear in my house turned on at the same time, tune everything to an unused FM frequency, and fill the entire place with wonderful sounds.

Overheats, doesn't really work
I've used this for over a year now and although I can generally finagle something to get it to work, there are a few things to consider before you buy this item:- the aux jack cable runs VERY hot. I burned my finger by pressing on the other end while it was plugged in after only a few seconds. The cable (and other cables I tested) were also very warm to the touch.- my iPod freezes when the aux cable is plugged in and I cannot control the music. I think this has to do with the aux cable tip getting ridiculously hot.- possibly also related to the overheating issue, the unit won't play any music from said iPod about half the time. This means I have to unplug and re-plug the cables and it will randomly work 50% of the time.- the signal strength is good, but the quality is fairly bad. Lots of white noise and static, even when using a quality radio within close proximity to the unit.- Fan is somewhat noisy. Not a deal breaker for me personally, but something else to be aware of.My advice is to stump for the more expensive unit with the understanding that you get what you pay for. Avoid this piece of you-know-what and go with the slightly more expensive, but likely better quality unit.

Great quialty for events with auto's or boats
We used the unit to broadcast a Easter Sunrise service with boaters. They tuned boats stereo in !

Great FM Transmitter
Works as specified. Easy to setup. Just screw the antenna in the back, plug in the AC power, plug in your microphone or audio source, select your desired FM frequency, and tune your radio to the same frequency and it works. Range send adequate, and the device broadcasts a strong FM signal.

Not the best.
There is an obvious low pitch hum that is audible around 25% volume and just gets progressively louder as the volume is raised, and at 40-50%+ volume the audio distorts heavily, the mic input has the same issues as well, the audio quality itself is tinny, just a little bass, lots of mid-range and highs. If you plan to use this for music I would advise buying a different option, this is strictly made for use with vocals/talking like church, podcasts, news, etc., the included antenna is decent goes around 500-700 feet. Havent tested this with a different antenna to confirm the advertised range. Conclusion: there are better options, but is decent for use as an aspiring beginner news radio transmitter, church radio transmitter, or anything that involves speaking. You can technically still use this for music listening but you have to tweak with the settings and knobs just to get it sounding "okay".
