Q: Is this a solid white stick?

Yes, it is. You have to apply it when your under arms are a little damp. It does not roll on easy but it does work!

Q: Does it contain Propylene Glycol?

I don’t know because I threw it away. It was too hard to roll on and I didn’t like the smell.

If you scroll down to the product description it states this: "Dr Teal’s Vanilla Lavender Aluminum-Free Deodorant is clinically proven to absorb wetness plus fight odor all day. This formula harnesses the strength of Magnesium, an essential mineral for your body and a powerful deodorizer, and contains Arrowroot powder and Baking Soda for all-day wetness absorption. Infused with Essential Oils, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Shea Butter". Back label states ingredients are: magnesium hydroxide, arrowroot powder, coconut oil, caprylic triglyceride, stearyl alcohol, baking soda, castor oil, beeswax, shea butter, zinc, fragrance, lavender essential oil, glycerine, jojoba oil, epsom salts, and magnesium chloride.

Q: Application tips? One I found, if you dribble a bit of water or put on while you're puts are wet from the shower, it's perfect. Any others?

The company instructions say to warm the deodorant up. I used my hair dryer to do that and it helped somewhat. You can also just hold it under your arm for a few minutes and it should warm it up that way too. But I understand they're beginning to make the deodorant so that warming it will not be required. I put mine on now without any preliminary activity. It takes a little while but it works.
