I love the texture of this perlite. It's not overly dusty, works nicely for houseplant soil. I purchased a larger bag of Miracle Grow perlite for a bit less $$ at a big box retailer and that product is v dusty and smaller sized. Kind of makes a mess and you don't really want to breath this stuff in. So if you are looking for a better product and ok with spending a little more this is for you and your beloved house plants.

It is as advertised. It is packaged in a clear plastic bag. It is easy to scoop out and put in pots. I am very pleased with this product.

Large amount of pearlite

This stuff has actually been a game changer for me. I've been able to save a few plants by using this to propagate them. It's very dusty and I wouldn't recommend breathing it in, but otherwise it's a nice product to have.

Good substrate for plants

Secret to my beautiful plants? An airy, chunky soil mix that includes lots and lots of PERLITE!I really love this brand, it is my favorite and will be buying it again. You get a good quantity of chunky perlite with almost no dust. I mix equal parts perlite, succulent potting soil, and chunky orchid bark with a handful of worm castings and charcoal if I happen to have it. This is the main secret to my plants thriving. I am super careful to not overwater my plants, that is *very very very important*!! I can not stress that enough. Plants hate having roots in soggy wet soil and nothing will kill them quicker than root rot. The perlite really helps protect against that.I have tried many other brands, but they seem super dusty and with less quantity. I recommend this brand.
