Q: How big are the packs? Do they fit in normal sized goodie bags?

They are smallish, about the size of a kool-ade pack and they fit great in a goodie bag! We used them for a winter themed birthday party.

Q: One review says there are no directions, is this true?

It is not true, It has directions print on the back of the package, and the package Exactly as picture selling at Amazon. Science Gone Fun, 10 Pack (10g./pack) Instant Snow (Tm) is re-usable. NON-TOXIC, 10g. pack size: H 4.25" X W 3.5"

Q: How much water should be added?

I use one cup of water to one tablespoon of instant snow but it varies. It mostly depends on how you would like it.

Q: How do you clean this up inside?

We used a shop vac. It cleans up pretty easy. It is kinda like sand, just a little softer. It forms snowball like shapes when wet but dries like sand. I used this for my preschool class and was able to clean most of it up with a broom and dust pan. Make sure to put it in the freezer so it will have a cold feel to it. I put it in the freezer for 4 hours and it only keep it cold, it never froze or got icy. My kids had a ball with this, especially since I live in North Carolina. .
