Q: Will this spray gun work with any of iwata's airbrush compressors?

Probably not. It's a big gun so it's gonna need a lot of air. Even if your turn the air pressure down, the tip is so big that it won't break up the paint or primer or whatever you're spraying. Bottom line, it'll take high air pressure and the airbrush compressor is too small to keep up

Q: Is this the AZ3 that the Gunman was talking about?

Yes. This is the AZ3HTE2 1.8mm (Iwata #9236). It requires 7.5 CFM per Iwata docs. 12 in. fan at 29psi. If you need to have HVLP compliant gear, the AZ3HV2 gun in 1.8mm is Iwata #9232 w/ larger fan at 13.5 in and 12.0 CFM.

Q: Does this gun have an air adjustment? I do not see the knob on the bottom.

It does not but you can buy an air regulator and thread it to the bottom

Q: I keep seeing reviews saying it's great for primer... What about lacquers? Or polyurethane? Using it for guitar bulding.

The reason it’s a great gun for primer is because it has a 1.8 tip if your looking to lay down some paint I would look into buying a paint gun and it’s a 1.4 tip
