If You Were a Prefix (Word Fun)

Used this book to teach a lesson to a group of second graders! They loved it and were able to follow along! I would recommend it if you have any kids struggling with prefixes and their meanings

We love the Word Fun series. I liked the suffix book a tad better than the prefix book but it does the job.

I used If You Were a Prefix with my second grade reading intervention groups. The book helped the kids understand what a prefix is. They really enjoyed the game at the back of the book which also works well as a memory game.I would recommend it to other teachers who teaching prefixes.Polly Bevil

Another terrific book to introduce Prefixes to children.

The book has a lot of repitition. The stidr nuts had a good idea of what a prefix is after reading the book. Great picture's too!

My second graders enjoyed the story and have referenced the book several times when looking for prefixes. The illustrations are fun and very detailed.

Love this book! It really helped me to teach the meaning of certain prefixes to one of the children I tutor!
