Great book with lots of practical advice
I've been following Steve for years now and have learned a lot from his podcast. I knew anything he lots his name on would provide value. His book is no exception. While it may he small, the book is full of useful information for those in sales. I highly recommend.

This book will guide you through the practice of active listening and its value in so many different fields. Amazing Sales Principles
I been through lots of sales training in my career. This is a great book with lot's of nuggets about sales and the sales process. I learned more form this short read than most of the training events I've been to.

A Short Overview of Soft Skills for Beginners in Sales.
It’s a very short read (84 pages, medium print size, 2-3 hours at most) but it does give key tips and pointers for the sales process. It’ll also help in laying the framework for any script or workflow you’re drafting. I have a lot of calling experience so some of the concepts I already knew, but there were still some good “nuggets” that made it worth the price. I would’ve loved the book to be a little more “tactical”, providing more example scripts and questions to help me apply the concepts and lessons, but that’s all.If you’re brand new to calling this is a good basic book to introduce yourself to sales. Adjust your mindset, but (in my opinion) there aren’t enough examples to really make you hold onto it. There’s little to no “homework” or “practice” to rehearse in your head or on calls, which is key to learning.This is DEFINITELY a soft skills book. Little to no hard skills.Is it worth the read? Yes.Should you buy it? If you’re new to calling and sales. (Or you see your sales numbers weakening.)Will I revisit it? Possibly.

The Goal: Listen...listen intently!!!
Enjoyed this very much! Life is a continuous sell cycle no matter what you do. Steve shines a light on how to sell in a manner to get people engaged in conversation to find the pain points and address them and prove to that person your the solution to the pain/anxiety....by listening FIRST then asking Great Questions!
