Tried the peak v3 and this. The spider system is more my speed
Only a couple belt mounted quick connectors to choose from on Amazon. I like this unit a lot because the clip doesn’t dig into your waist, and the ball style clip allows some wiggle room when you move. Camera 2 will clip on this while my main photo cam stays in my shoulder rig. Nice design for quickly stowing your camera for hands free movement.

Fantastic, if somewhat expensive piece of kit.
This had been working brilliantly with my Sony A7iv for a month of intensive use. Indeed, after the hard use its been put through on a 1 month voyage around the southwestern USA, much of it on foot, I can safely declare that this is one of the best camera accessories I’ve purchased in my near 50 years of photography. Back in the old days, when my shoulders worked, such an item would have been a luxury due to its price. Today, what with age and several injuries, it is essential. In fact I will be buying the larger sized plate that i hope will distribute the weight more broadly and will use this one on my backpack. At over $50 its very expensive for what it is, but still, solid, secure and for me, worth the cost. Try it and you will never use a shoulder strap again. By the way, I still attach my short shoulder strap to a carabiner and attach the carabiner to my light weight over the shoulder bag as extra security, that way in the unlikely event of my dropping the camera it is still tethered to me. But, except when hiking or other vigorous activity, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this without the added security. The attachment is very secure. Use a stout belt. Mine is a nylon web tactical belt about 5cm wide and it works superbly as a combo. Please note, you can set this device so it is in quick release mode or locked. In quick release it is, in fact, quick. You can get the camera to your eye as quickly as with a neck strap or one of those fancy over the shoulder straps (I have both) without the camera and lens causing neck pain. In locked mode, you need to push a lever to unlock, and I haven’t been able to figure out how to do this quickly with one hand, hence my use of strap and carabiner for extra security. Finally, just so you know, I use my camera with the Tamron 28-200 almost all the time (great lens) and despite its size I have had no real problems although this set up does seem to cause the focus ring to turn as it rubs against my pants as I walk. I don’t think, and sure hope, this won’t cause lens problems in the future, but so far, so good. If anything changes I will let you know.

I've officially ditched the strap!
Spider is a game changer! I used 2 this weekend at a 6 hour event. I have 2 Sony A7-IV's paired with a 70-200 f2.8 GM II and 24-70 f2.8 GM II and being able to hang one rig and quickly grab another meant I didn't miss a shot. I even had to run with them a couple times and they hung in there! My ONLY gripe is that metal tab that sticks out at the bottom of the clip digs into your hip and depending on your rig, can be pretty painful. Communicating now with Spider tech support to see what they come up with. I might have to McGyver some kind of pad system!

Easy to use
Very easy to use and like how easy it attachs to the your belt. I use it all day and works great.

My Best Camera Accessory Purchase
This is the best camera accessory I have ever purchased. It works great with my Olympus OMD and Fuji XT3 and short primes. The weight of the cameras is perfectly balanced on my belt. With longer, zoom lenses, it still holds everything securely, but the weight and balance become a bit of an issue. But that is not the holster’s issue, it’s simply the issue of the extra weight on my hip. Both pieces are constructed of high gaugeSteel. I don’t see ever breaking or needing to replace either part. My one wish is that I could get a replacement part of the piece that fits onto my camera alone, so I could have both cameras ready to snap onto my belt for my shoots. As it stands, I have to buy two full sets. And anyone complaining about the price, my comment is simple: find a replacement as well constructed as this and buy it if it’s cheaper. Good luck with that!

Part Time Photographer...
Here is my thought, as I have used Spider Holster SpiderPro the reason is a carry 2 Pro camera setup for work so I am familar with this holster, Which was already expecting the same easy access functionality and this did not disappoint but this time Spider X is much more light weight verison of the SpiderPro setup at half the cost.I am using this with a Sony A1 50mm Lens setup works perfectly. No complaining here as I already knew what to expect. (not recommanded for non-mirrorless cameras.)If you don't want to use tangling camera strap, have quick draw like the wild west and hands free functionality this is the set up for you. Don't think buy it now! you will not be disappointed.
