Excellent cookware at reasonable price. New to baking—been using glass pan! This metal pan cooked much better, and the plastic lid is perfect for storage!

Just about anyone who does some cooking and baking needs a 9x13 baking pan. I’ve had several over the years, both metallic and glass, and have settled on this Farberware nonstick baking pan as the most convenient and serviceable. It’s lightweight for starters, and has good handles, and that means once it’s filled with whatever you’re baking, it’s easy to get in and out of the oven, then easy to transport if you’re taking/placing it somewhere else. The fact that it’s nonstick means cleaning is easy, as it can go right into the dishwasher. And cakes and casseroles bake up beautifully and do not stick to the bottom or sides. I use only nonstick utensils for serving, and that ensures flawless longevity. Highly recommended.

Bakes a perfect cake. Cooked perfectly on the bottom, super easy to remove the cake pieces, and a really easy clean up.I love this pan, I am dreaming up ideas to use it more, it is outstanding. It was easy to use, and the lid fit perfectly.

They key to opening the lid. The lid of the Farberware Nonstick Bakeware Rectangular Cake Pan with Lid can be tricky to remove. Here's what works best:Pull from the long side – Use your fingers to pull up on the notches located on the long sides of the lid (not the short ends or corners)Apply weight first – Some customers recommend placing weight on the edge closest to you with your forearms, then pull up on the opposite sideUse leverage if needed – A butter knife can help separate the lid if it's stuck tightThe trick is NOT to try to open it from the corners. (which is what I tried to do & I imagine most people would) You have to open it from the middle of the longer side and the cover comes right off .Its great quality keeps my baked treats fresh and moist. It’s easy to wash and no issues there.

I can not tell you how many pans I looked at and how many reviews I read before deciding to get this one. The only thing that kept me from getting this right away was all the comments about how difficult it was to remove the cover. I figured if I couldn't get it to come off, my husband could. The trick is NOT to try to open it from the corners. (which is what I tried to do & I imagine most people would) You have to open it from the middle of the longer side and the cover comes off immediately! Now for the pan itself, I was looking for something a little deeper than your typical casserole dish and this one is. Its the perfect size for making a thick 3 layer lasagna. It seems to cook evenly, there were no cold spots and it was nice and bubbly when I took it out of the oven. I did not use any cooking spray on the bottom, just a little sauce before layering my lasagna noodles and it did not stick to the bottom of the pan. Each slice came out easily and stayed put together. I used a silicone knife so I wouldn't scratch the bottom and it worked out well. I wouldn't use a metal knife, even though its scratch resistant, they're probably inevitable but I'd like to stave that off for as long as possible. Overall, its a great quality pan for a variety of baked goods from a lasagna, to roasting chicken and making brownies. The cover is a giant bonus and the whole set travels well alone or inside a tote. If needed, I wouldn't hesitate to come back and get another. It also comes packaged nicely and would make a great gift!

My favorite baking pan purchase ever. It's absolutely perfect for my blonde recipe. I don't need to line my pans and the bake is pretty even. I will say the edges do darken slightly and the center is a little softer. If you are particular about it having perfectly even heat distribution, I don't believe this will offend you but something to consider. No mess, no sticking and super easy to clean! 9x13 is perfect for brownies/blondes. The lid makes it pretty tall so idk if that would be an issue for refrigerador storage, but I think the storage is great.

Love this covered pan!!! It’s so versatile. I’ve used this for everything from cakes to casseroles. The lid snaps on tight, ensuring freshness of the interior contents. I could use this in lots of sizes. It’s perfect as it is and I highly recommend it.
