Best Tasting Coffee I've Ever Had
For a long time I have been somewhat skeptical of the Keurigs. When I first became aware of them and they were popping up everywhere, it was expensive and was more suited to people who did a few cups a day at most. The pods were expensive and did not have the reusable pods then.It definitely was not for a family of 3 coffee drinkers who did more then one or two cups a day and with various tastes in coffee.I needed something versatile. My husband drinks only one cupe of regular. My son does 4 or so and likes regular ground. I am a flavored coffee lover and drink about the same as my son.I thought I found it when I got the Ninja last summer only to have it die out in 3 months. The coffee was good but, not outstanding. I got another brand that did the two in one only to have only half it work.Keurig kept popping up in my search for versatile coffee makers that were higher rated. I could not ignore them completely so I checked them out.Happy to find they now had a water holder and could even do a small carafe. They also did ground coffee and not just pods. Bingo for the guys. And of course the flavor coffee and pods for me.I got mine a week ago and was in love with the excellent coffee it made.I have never had a coffee maker that did such good coffee.I also love the versatility. And, of course, the computerized settings to play with. Super easy and just fun.It makes coffee very fast as well and I like the light that goes on the water holder.I like all the little fun features. Some comment on the noise but, it is not any louder or different from a lot of small appliances today. They all seem to make noise of some kind. It's not a bother.I like the pods and for those who worry over the fact that they don't break down - I recycle mine. I put the pods in a bag and dump them in the recycle bin when the bag fills.I just love it. The best coffee maker I've had. And am thrilled with it.

Very happy with this Keurig
Just to give everyone some background info, we are serious coffee drinkers. Our first-generation classic Keurig finally gave out after 6 years and probably thousands of cups of coffee. Decided to upgrade to this new deluxe model, and couldn't be happier. We love the larger water reservoir and the fact that you don't have to remove the reservoir to fill it up. We also like that you can select what size mug you're using by ounces instead of just small, medium and large. Another feature that we like is the "strong" brew which my husband uses. The benefit of filling a carafe for when you need more than just a cup at a time was a big plus for us, also. The carafe, sold separately, wasn't available at the time, but we plan on getting that as soon as we can. It sits nicely below our kitchen cabinets and is a little taller than our old classic, but still plenty of room to fill the reservoir and put in k-cups. The only "con" to this machine is that it is VERY noisy when it's brewing as other reviews have stated. As long as it continues to work, we aren't bothered by that at all. I did purchase the 3 year protection plan just in case something goes wrong. But, when our old classic model developed a problem after a little over a year, Keurig sent us a replacement free of charge even though it was out of the warranty period. So the protection plan may have been unnecessary, but it was not expensive. We got the red color which is a nice almost burgundy...not bright red. Overall, a great machine and looking forward to continuing to enjoy it for years to come.

Keurig appeared to be used!!!!
I received my Keurig K475 box just awhile ago but immediately became alarmed because the contents rattled; however upon opening the package, I was relieved when nothing appeared broken. BUT when I pulled the Keurig out of its box, I immediately noticed some slight wear and tear (waterspots, tiny scratches and smudges) on the surface making it apparent it had been used! What's more, we were astonished to see that the filter in the water compartment was wet! Printed on the box were the contents: additional filters and 6 count K-Cup Pod Variety Pack as indicated on the box. THERE WAS NO K CUP VARIETY PACK nor were the 2 FILTERS INCLUDED. I searched in vain for the OWNER'S MANUAL, and it was not included either. Needless to say I am very upset, but was anxious to see if the machine could make coffee, so I went on line and watched a couple of instructional videos and was able to ascertain that this Keurig does not appear to be damaged, despite having been used. The cup of coffee was delicious but I have no manual, no way to register the product, and nothing to fall back on other than my computer and reviews. If the Keurig had not been used and if all promised contents had been included, I could enthusiastically give this appliance a better rating because I love the color, thestyling and the taste of the coffee. For those of you ordering this product, I hope your merchandise will arrive in pristine condition.
