Before settling on a probiotic for our toddler daughter, I did a ton of research into products and companies and wanted to make sure we found something that really worked. Garden of life is an amazing company who truly cares about their customers, the quality of products they carry and they sell them at a cost we can afford to pay. Many probiotics today are expensive and just don't work. While using this product, we never had a sickness and it kept her regular. Also the taste was wonderful and we liked the added fruits and veggies. It has the strains we were looking for, as wel. This is such a wonderful probiotic. We will continue to be loyal garden of life probiotic users for the whole family.

I can't say enough about this product. My son has always been on the "challenged" side of wellness due to being a premie at birth and struggles with mild asthma. Every cold and flu season, I could count on him getting ill and needing regular breathing treatments for several weeks if not months. For eight years of his life, we could count on flu season to make a major dent in our Holiday plans and would start the breathing treatments as soon as we heard a little cough coming on. Two years ago, upon the suggestion of a massage therapist, I decided to try probiotics. She mentioned primal defense and I looked it up. I figured I would try to find something for my son as well and I found this product. Since it mixes with juice (he is picky about eating as well and doesn't like banana anything), I decided to give it a try.A few months into using it, my son's 2nd grade class caught the (swine) flu....I mean the ENTIRE class. First is was the girl that sat directly next to my son, then the next child at his group table, then the next....I was preparing myself for the worst illness to date for him and an impending hospital visit (we knew the drill well). I knew it was just inevitable, given our track record. Eventually the entire class was absent at one time or another over the course of six weeks for flu symptoms....all but one...MY (easy to catch any virus within a 2 mile radius), CHILD. He didn't miss a single day during the whole "epidemic". I couldn't believe it!!! Since then, we have not lived without this product. It's been two years and my son has had better health than ever. Sure he still catches a cold here and there and has some challenges with his asthma at times, but nothing compared to what was once our norm. I am not a doctor and cannot make any claims as to the reasons his health has improved, but I can share my experience. Our results have been amazing!!! We will continue to use this product and do believe that it has helped him with his overall health and wellness. I have recommended it to other mother's as well, especially for flu season....we use it year round and feel it is a great preventative method to help aid in the body's defense. We use it less during other seasons (spring/summer) and more during seasons that are more prone to illness.We put this powder in peach mango V8 fusion lite juice every other day and he drinks it up, no problem. It's a tropical twist on his "go to" juice. You do have to stir it pretty throughly because it doesn't mix easily. We put the mix (without submerging the spoon with the powder on it) in after pouring the juice so that the powder doesn't stick to the bottom of the cup. You may also want to use a mixing cup/shaking cup to blend it with the drink you choose. My son stirs it up himself now (he's 10) and it's part of his morning routine. Most kids don't like to drink the clump of mix at the end....and that's the good stuff they need....so mixing well is important to make sure they get all the benefits.Well wishes to other mom's and kids.

My daughters pediatrician recommended this product because she was getting sick very often and was constantly constipated. Weve been using this for a solid 2 months mixed into about 5 oz of milk and she doesn't spot the flavor. Shes been getting sick MUCH MUCH less and we have run into little to no issues with her bowel movements now. I wish it came with a scooper of some sort.

This probiotic is pretty awesome. I purchased it for supplementing my baby's goat milk formula. It's very easy to use and it tastes like bananas. I recommend shaking the product before use (as per the bottle). The only thing I am concerned about is that I was not able to find an expiration date on the actual bottle. There may have been one on the box, but I threw it away. I'm not sure how long it will last. I've had this since October and still have quite a bit left. I use 1/8 teaspoon per day for a 9 month old as per the baby goat milk formula recipe I use.
