Q: How come pressure can release through gasket ? Secondly is it possible that this stainless steel cooker having aluminium safety valve on the lid

Its works perfectly fine with the same mechanism like other available pressure cookers. Using the smaller version of the same brand and type from past 4 years without any issues. Lastly Steel is better then aluminium.

Q: Defective pressure cooker, pressure releasing from bottom of the lid rather than from regulator, no whistle

Mine worked for a while and now same problem as yours . Tried changing the gasket and ring but no luck. I had three of them in different size and all are not working. Need to throw them.

Q: Does this cooker come with extra safety valve?

This is one of the worst thing I have ever bought on Amazon, and I did not get any extra valve.
