Oregon105670 Replacement Guide Bar and Chainsaw Chain Combo, 18-Inch, Fits Stihl

Haven't had time to comment on durability, but so far looks like there will be no problem in that department. I'm very pleased with the purchase, and would buy it again if need be.

Happy with the bar and chain, cuts well and fits my ms261 saw. This is the second one I’ve bought from Amazon. The first one lasted about six face cords of wood before getting noisy from chain wear in the channel. Lots of oil but not enough transfer to the channel.

I ordered this after I smoked the OEM bar on my MS271. I reluctantly chose this as a much cheaper alternative to the Stihl bar so I didn't wreck another expensive one as I got to know the saw. I'm glad I did because this Oregon bar and chain combo seems to be holding up even better for much much cheaper. Couldn't be happier.

I own some acreage, and I’m always finding myself needing an extra bar. The other day, when cutting a tree down, my bar got pinched, and I swapped this bar out for my old one. It worked flawlessly, and I had the tree taken down, and my other bar freed up in no time. It fit on my Stihl ms261 perfectly, as I believe these bars will fit on all Stihl saws. They are much less expensive than Stihl bars, and if you’re cutting a lot, this will save you a lot of money.

This was a great value. Just tried it recently and it cut wood like it was new.
