Takes a PCIe x4 slot, or if you don't have one its going to eat up your x16 secondary, like on my system.Down one star because it has no aux power input and no socket for front-panel USB. I will eventually change out my motherboard to get the front panel, but being only slot -powered is a concern as newer devices are frequently current-hungry.Thus far my devices have been self-powered, but I'm going to run into something that isn't probably sooner than later. Overall, this is still a good product and was an issue-free install. Win10 finds it and supplies a driver without any installation of driver needed.

Even though the drivers are on disk, windows still needed to install extra drivers for it, to enable booting from usb 3.0 devices.

Facil de instalar y usar, en mi caso fue solo cuestión de instalar la tarjeta en un slot PCI-e libre (el mío era PCI-e 4x) y funciono a la primera, los drivers de Windows 10 se instalaron solos tras arrancar (si te da problemas puedes instalar los que vienen en el CD en su lugar) y funciono todo perfectamente.Una buena forma de añadir USB-C a un equipo ya con años que no lo tenía. Fenomenal.

Dopo qualche test con hard disk esterni posso dire che non rispetta assolutamente le velocità dichiarate, è utile solo per eliminare gli adattatori.Forse spendendo qualche euro in più si possono avere schede più performanti.

This worked out of the box literally. I unboxed it, installed in a PCIe x4 slot on the motherboard and rebooted and it instantly recognised my USB-C NVME drive i plugged in to one of the new USB-C ports to test it with.There is another review here for another Hackintosh installation (Catalina i think it was).. that mentions installing a kext that will make it work, either i already have that kext installed or it works with Mojave natively. i don't know which is the actual situation for my Mojave system.. off the top of my head.

Acheté pour relier ma bonne vieille tour à un switch USB C (écran, clavier, souris) fait parfaitement le job, les drivers s'installe tout seul sous Windows 10.
