They are all pretty run-of-the-mill, not much different (unless you get a hybrid). Couldn't find the "OMG I LOVE THAT CASE" phone case, so I decided to order a clear one so I could decorate it how I want, whenever I want. Fits phone (LG V30) great. Haven't dropped it to test the shock absorption, but when I do, I'll update this review. Lol Great deal for what it is.

The case was exactly as described, arrived quickly (in New Zealand) and was easy to fit. I had dropped my previous phone and broken its screen so I was particularly keen to reduce the risk for my new one. I bought a pack of Supershieldz glass protectors (which I fitted first) and then fitted this Casevasn case around the rest of the phone. All the cutouts match perfectly (microphone, earphone jack, charge point etc.) and in fact, the fingerprint detector on the back of the phone is enhanced by the profiled cutout, guiding my finger more than the bare phone. In the same way, the volume control buttons on the case match the actual buttons on the phone but make it easier to use them as the case buttons are raised. The sides of the case have a raised and textured pair of 'grip strips' which address one slight criticism I had of the bare phone which was that its sleek feel and look made it a little hard to hold safely and without unintentionally having a finger on the screen. The latter (unintended finger on the screen) meant that sometimes my intended swipe or selection of an icon didn't register and this doesn't happen now I have the case fitted. I haven't dropped the phone yet and don't intend to try but the case should reduce any damage, especially the built up corners, without having an unnecessarily bulky armoured case. I can still carry the phone in a pocket and it doesn't have that 'army tank' look about it. The phone's wireless charging facility continues to work well with the case in place.

This is a very nice case, as far as non-matte cases go. It has a very snug fit around the phone but is still relatively easy to put on and take off. The case is smooth to the touch, but not slick. It does show fingerprints but all non-matte cases do. All edges of the case are sturdy (including the bottom which has all the required cutouts).In full disclosure, I only bought this case because I bought an LG V30 phone 3 years after it was first released and by that time, there were not many case options around to choose from. If I could have bought a matte case (my first preference), I would have. But as far as non-matte cases go, this one is a very good one.

My biggest thing was that I needed a case for my phone, that would let me attach it to Tripods/gimbles/phone holders for the car or for filming videos. I would have to take my old case off and use my phone naked for filming, so on a whole day vlog, it would be really stressful to take it out of the tripod and risk dropping it, or only using it as a camera, and being phone free for the day. This is so slim that I do not have to take the case off to use it. I have yet to drop it in the case, but I have peace of mind now with this. Very thick rubber seems very durable. Makes access to all buttons and ports extremely easy as well.

This case is attractive, and perfectly functional. The best part is that, unlike my last case from a different seller, when I plug in the charger it makes all its connections, charges the phone and stays plugged in due to the fact that the cutouts in this case are perfect. It also has good grip texture, looks cool, and protects my phone from being dropped just like a good case should!
