J Kara Women's Plus Size Pop Over Long Beaded Dress

I was hesitant about buying such an important dress sight unseen online. The experience could not have been better. My dress arrived in two days. I followed the sizing chart and it fit perfectly. As many of the other reviews say, the pictures don't do it justice. The beading is exquisite and the dress is well made. My sisters and daughter in law all loved it. Getting four women to agree on a dress is a reflection of the style and quality of this item. Highly recommend.

Update: Had a wonderful time at my daughter's wedding wearing this dress. I received so many compliments on it and felt beautiful in it. It was comfortable and easy to wear as well.Bought in gray for my Mother of the Bride dress. Haven't worn it yet but I loved it the moment I tried it on. My daughter's reaction when I modelled it for her approval was "Oh hell yes". Incredibly comfortable, and the sparkly shawl part is so much more beautiful in person. And they give you extra beading for it if needed. It just drops over your head, nothing to zip or fasten, and both sides of the shawl part are slit so you can move your arms freely for eating and dancing. It's so nice to find an elegant plus sized gown!

I had to try 3 different sizes before the right one came! The “try3 for $10 was great! I received many compliments on this dress. No zippers to struggle with. Very comfortable. I wore it as a “mother of the bride” dress. The sleeves were different which confused me but they didn’t matter. One sleeve had a slit and the other closed. Guess it’s the style.

This dress was everything I had hoped it would be. I have a hard time finding dresses that fit well, hang properly and hide all of the parts of my body that I don’t want to attract attention to! It is also the perfect length for me. I can even wear it with more comfortable flats. I have to wear evening gowns quite often and comfort is very important.This is a good quality garment and I get compliments from so many people, every time I wear it. It’s my favorite evening dress now.

I was truly disgusted when I opened this dress up! I purchased this dress to wear to a 35th college reunion. It arrived two days before I was to wear it. When I took it out of the bag, the first thing I notice was the huge seem ripped all the way down the left arm. It was completely unrepairable! Under further inspection, I found multiple ink pen marks all over the dress. Blue Ink. It stuck out like a sore thumb on the pink. There was also many places on the dress where it was missing beading and had loose strings. Last, the dress was ordered in a size 20. It was easily a 24 at least, if not larger. I was so incredibly disappointed in this purchase. I immediately put it back in the bag and returned it. The dress was $180 and not worth $10! While I am thankful that I was using the Try Before You Buy, you definitely get what you pay for. I got trash.

My wife said it was VERY large in the bust area and it was pretty on her but too loose on the top, we had a tight deadline and so this was returned rather than tailored.

Ordered 5 dresses as Mother of the Groom. Finally found this one and I received so many complements on it. It felt good to know that I picked the right one and everything about it felt right and it fit good and was comfortable enough to wear for 12 hours.

This dress fits me perfectly, I have a larger upper body, arms, bust and stomach. I am more slender in the legs. The top part of this dress is very slimming, it looks great! The bottom of this dress fits my lower, slimmer body perfectly, I am 5’4 wear a 2X top and size 16 bottom. I love it!
