Oscd Ku Ripcord 2016

Keith Urban CD called “Ripcord” is an awesome CD. Great music!

I absolutely LOVE this cd/album and every single song is a perfect 10 in my book. Though his 2 cds that are his greatest most poplular songs are the ones to get first if you h ave nothing by Keith, this one is also right up there with them. Outstanding in every s ingle way.

Amazing new music from Mr. Urban. Hoping Worry 'Bout Nothin' becomes a single one day but there are so many strong contenders on here-his people will probably have a hard (or easy lol) time choosing which one releases next. Gone Tomorrow(Here Today) is like WOAH! HANG ON!! right outta the box 1st track and then there is great flow the rest of the way, even an old school sounding one with some electronic fun stuff in Blue Ain't Your Color. Break on Me is slow and beautiful, Wasted Time PERFECT, Boy Gets A Truck will get lots of radio/country venue play whether it gets released or not and I think I can't wait to hear him play That Could Be Us at one of his concerts because its on piano and he's so well-known for his guitar prowess. Hope they roll a baby G out and he sits there and just cries this song out from his musical soul! Glad I got this-buy the whole thing peeps if you are deciding!

Played this CD over and over again while traveling to another city for medical reasons. You see my brother was in need of a new heart valve and a lot of tests were involved. He loved this CD and it "shocked" him that I had it. Sure made him happy when I would "crank it up". I wanted to give it to him but he declined...he said "Sis, you deserve it more for taking me back and forth to all these doctors and the hospital!" He finally got a new heart valve and doing fine. I wanted to order him this CD but he was involved in a car accident and his vehicle was totaled out. He told me not to rder one since he didn't have any type of CD player. Bless his heart! So, thanks for the speedy shipping. It came in handy!!!

Keith is one smart dude...he releases new albums 2-3 years in between, fans are so hungry for his new material they just gobble it up. Ripcord is arguably his edgiest work yet...new collaborations, a lot of up-tempo songs and an overall urgency comes through when I listen to it. He's a country artist, but grew up in Australia playing punk rock, among other music. Rock will always be part of his musical DNA. His time as judge (by far the best one, too) on American Idol opened up a number of doors for him, and the sound he's created on Ripcord is a testament to that. That's what makes Keith such a compelling artist...he's always learning, collaborating and expanding his musical horizons. He's a true student of music...he never ceased to amaze me on Idol...seems like he knew the words to just about every song the contestants and guest stars sang. Nicole recently said she's proudest of Keith because he cares about the details, striving to make each song as perfect as he can get it. We fans are the lucky ones who get to hear the results of such dedication to his craft.
