It looks just as beautiful in person! The quality is very good. I’ve spilled Coke and juice on it, washed immediately, it did not stain. I just laid flat across my table to dry. Did not unravel and kept its shape.

For the price, I was afraid the dimensions would be a little off and the quality would be poor, enough so I would not feel comfortable putting it out on my dining table. However, it’s actually a very nice quality and it looks great on my dining table. It’s both sturdy and soft, and the colors are very true to what it looked like on my display. As others warned, it did come with an odor – mostly on that center section. I was able to get it out fairly easily. First, I soaked it in warm water with detergent and borax. Then, I washed it on gentle cycle with detergent and borax. Both times I air dried it on a rack outside. I let it air out for several days. As of now, there is no odor. It is long enough to accommodate my dining table when I add in the leaves, and it looks nice with my fall centerpieces. It is exactly what I wanted and a good purchase.

This is a fantastic looking table runner. I have noticed on a lot of the reviews people are talking about the smell that gives off. I would say the smell reminds me of a cellar, It’s not unpleasant and it doesn’t smell damp or anything it’s just a very specific smell. But the smell faded within about two days and even then it wasn’t overpowering it was only when you went close to it and sniffed. I’ve washed it a couple of times and there is no smell now.

Long, and elegant. Tassels on ends could be a little more flattering, for price a nice product that suited the purpose.
