This is exactly what I was looking for! I used this on the door into my garage. I wanted to keep my younger kids out since I had toxic liquids stored in there. I had a locked door set on, but it meant that if I locked it I would have to remember to bring the key every time I went into the garage and I am in and out of the garage many many times. This door lock is perfect since it automatically locks when I close the door and is easy to unlock using the key pad. I was a bit confused about the "anti-peek" feature but it just works. If I think someone is watching I just randomly enter a bunch of numbers and then in the middle of that random sequence, enter my real four digit code followed by some more random numbers. Once done, hit the # key and the thing unlocks! I love this. Way easier to install than some people have said and programming is a snap!

I gave this 4 stars for the sellers, but 3 stars for the product. The lock does not work if the temp real hot, 90 degrees outside (if uses as an exterior lock). I must give the company who sells it props, for standing behind their product. Why? After installing the lock for 1 year, I decided to now install the batteries. Only to find that the electronic features did not work. I contacted the company, and they send me a replacement. The replacement also failed a few days later. Then I notice it only works when the weather was cooler.

This lock worked great for the first year, but then it suddenly died without warning leaving me locked out of my own home. I tried replacing the batteries with fresh ones, but the touchscreen stayed completely unresponsive. To make matters worse, this model doesn’t have an emergency power jump option like many others do, so there’s no way to revive it once it fails. For the price, I expected better reliability and basic safety features. It’s frustrating and inconvenient to have a “smart” lock fail this way. I wouldn’t recommend this product unless the company addresses these design flaws. Plus the screen is not good quality
