Dole Soft Serve Mix, Orange, 4.40 Pound

Purchased this product to use in a Greenpan soft serve machine. Found a recipe online that uses 1 cup of this Dole mix. It called for 3 cups of water, but I used 2 cups of water and 1 cup of milk to try and make it more creamy. Perfect! Even this relatively small amount of mix made too much soft serve for two people, so I froze the leftovers. It's really good that way too! Have ordered the pineapple flavor. You may think the bag is pricey, but it does make a lot of creamy soft serve....

I made this in my Greenpan Frost Ice Cream Maker. Sooo Good! I took the advise of another reviewer and used 1 cup of mix, 2 cups of cold water and 1 cup of half & half. It was perfect. We will definitely be buying again…

Love Dole products but think this flavor should have a touch more flavor. Great texture and value for money.

This right here....let me tell you.....this was an every weekend staple at my house this summer and man it did not disappoint....repeat buyer on this product and will continue to buy this...oh the size.....its big....good size for a family

If you own an "Ice Cream Maker" please read BEFORE you order. I found this product while searching for "Homemade Ice Cream Mix". I didn't realized that this is made primarily for Soft Serve Machines. After receiving the product, you can imagine my disappointment when I couldn't find directions for homemade ice cream preparation. I e-mailed the company asking for a "fix" or a refund. The Precision Food Group immediately responded to my inquiry. They offered a refund but also sent me the directions to make this product in my ice cream maker telling me that they would give the refund if I didn't like the product after trying their directions. I LOVE IT!!! I will definitely purchase this product again. I know that $20.00 seems expensive but this is a Large bag of mix. I have made 2 or 3 - 4 quart freezers full and I have enough to make that much more. It has a soft serve, creamy consistency to it. It tastes a lot like orange sherbet but I like this a lot more than what you can purchase in the grocery store. Between the great product and the excellent customer service, I will definately do business with the company again. Remember: if you don't have a soft serve machine, e-mail the company and they will send the directions to you for how to convert the mix to a regular ice cream maker
