Decent book
Good book with lot of useful information..... author seems to be little biased towards science and has ignored lots of recent developments in neurotheology......

how useless (or harmful) many of the practices and techniques advocated ...
This book explains in understandable (for a lay person) detail how the body works and, more important, how useless (or harmful) many of the practices and techniques advocated by current fads and advertising pressures are. The author does not pass judgment, however; he relies on the reader's ability to understand and arrive at reasonable conclusions. Plus, and I can't stress this enough, his understated sense of humour 'helps the medicine go down, in the most delightful way'.

Damaged
The book arrived damaged and poorly packaged, loose in a box with other items. The book content on the other hand is quite amusing and well written. Good read.
