Kano Headphones - Bluetooth, Buildable, Booming

These were a Christmas present for my 9 yo grandson. He has a Kano computer and wanted ear buds or ear phones to use with it. It appears the ear buds are no longer available so got him the earphones. He put them together and wore them the rest of the day. He loves them.

These came bundled with a Kano PC that I bought for my 1st grader. These headphones seem to be well made. Buy these with the understanding that you have to assemble them, but that's part of the fun of getting them. Assembly is straightforward. The instructions are easy to follow, and the whole process is meant to be done with your child. The fact that you can use them wired or bluetooth is a great design. The cord removes from the headset when you want to go wireless. Honestly, more headphones need to do this.Do not let the looks fool you. Yes--these are technically kids headphones. I assumed "building" them was kind of the selling point--they are a learning item. Then I plugged them into my phone and played some music, just to see how meh they actually sounded, and, well, these things sound pretty darn good. Like, enjoyably good. I was very surprised. I'm seriously thinking about buying a pair for myself to keep in my backpack.
