Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser, 7.0 Fluid Ounce

I have had very deep, cystic acne on the sides of my face/jaw for almost 4 years. It was adult onset and came out of nowhere. My husband had begun telling me he was not attracted to me, it was so bad. He missed the clear skin I had at 18 when I met him. I was heartbroken and needed something that would FINALLY clear my skin. (Doctors and various medicines, lotions, essential oils, supplements, extracts & pills hadn't worked.) I was literally having little balls of soft wax, like soy candle wax, pushing to the surface of my skin from somewhere so deep it felt as if it came from my bones. These were NOT normal zits. They were something from the pit of hell.One reviewer who had symptoms similar to mine said to use Ole Henricksen African Red Tea foaming face wash plus Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel. I am SO INCREDIBLY GLAD I took her advice! Here is what I did to clear my face miraculously in 3 weeks:While in the shower where the steam has opened my pores, I use original apricot scrub gently on my face (my skin needs a little help exfoliating or my pores clog). I rinse and then immediately (while still in the shower) wash my face, neck and chest with two pumps of Ole Henricksen African Red Tea foaming cleanser. I leave the foam on my skin for about 30 seconds and then rinse. Once I am out of the shower and dried off, I put the Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel on a cotton ball and use it as an astringent all over my face. Sometimes I drench another cotton ball and go over problem areas. If I have some zit boil that starts to rise up, I dab on therapeutic grade tea tree/melaleuca essential oil to help calm down the area.I bought the Ole Henricksen and Thayers Witch Hazel and began using them the day before Halloween 2017. By Thanksgiving 3 and a half weeks later, my skin had cleared. No more deep, painful boils from hell bubbling up, no more huge red cyst things, no open boo-boos - ALL CLEAR SKIN. This has not happened in 4 years. My husband began complementing my skin shortly before our Thanksgiving trip when it began to clear up. (I used these products for about two weeks and actually had more cysts come to the surface before it all cleared but I knew to expect that. Keep using it! The clear skin happens quite rapidly once the last cysts surface!)I am soooooo grateful for this product. I plan to always keep a brand new bottle on-hand so I don't run out. It feels so good to not be embarrassed about my skin any more!

I have the most sensitive skin! I get hives if I even look at some things! Ole Henriksen makes a clean product that my face will tolerate. This works very effectively, smells fabulous, does not provoke skin problems, removes all makeup, and leaves my skin feeling great. I usually cannot afford Ole Henriksen, but this had a good price. If you have sensitive skin or you just want a great skin cleanser, this one is fabulous. The scent is refreshing and not cloying.

Fabulous cleanser---mild and refreshing ..leaves face soft and clean without ridiculous scent and without drying. I am 53 and usually mistaken for someone 10-15 years younger....because this leaves me with a dewy complexion. And while genetics are certainly a factor, this cleanser is also a key ingredient in my skin care regimen....and a little goes a loooong way!

This product thoroughly cleans my skin without drying it out. I usually have problems getting the right winter cleanser since the ones for dry skin never do a good job getting my sunblock off and leave me with clogged pores. This is a great product. For summer time, I use the on the go vitamin C cleanser by Ole.Updated review: I still love this product as it is a really good cleanser. The packaging however has proven to be awful over time. It's only been 2 months and it has completely collapsed, even though I've used the pump on the top and haven't squeezed the bottle.

I absolutely LOVE this cleanser as it checks all the boxes for a facial cleaning product. First and foremost this company does not test on animals,secondly it is made of all natural ingredients which is amazing for my sensitive skin and lastly its a great price for the amount you get which lasts for months. I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting clear and smooth glowing skin. Plus added bonus it smells lightly citric which is quite refreshing.

I love how portable and easy to use this face wash is. I am currently deployed and it keeps my face clean and moisturized. Also the bottle is easy to travel with and the suds that are created are easy to wash off. With such easy use it really cleans the dirt off your face really well. The washing water here has slight amounts of salt in it, however, I have had no skin dryness or problems while using this face wash. I highly recommend it.

I was a little hesitant buying this cleanser, because I had no reason to leave my original face wash other than plain getting bored of it. I tried the Ole cleanser. The smell was pleasant, it left my face very clean. Shortly after, maybe two days later I noticed breakouts on my face. I thought they were a sign my skin was adjusting. I decided the cleanser was not to blame. With this in mind, I continued using it. There were no breakouts. I noticed a significant improvement: my skin looked clearer, felt softer. Wonderful product.

Failed to list "shea butter" as an ingredient on the Amazon sales page & I'm allergic. Took a week to clear up- but in its defense, my husband used it & loved it.
