First off, I have Hashimoto's Thyroidits, which has been playing havoc with my system. I started seeing doctors in Aug. 2015 about all of the imbalances I had been experiencing for years prior. I have been following their protocols by taking the thyroid medicines & supplements, eating the ways they've recommended. In all that time I have lost weight, my vision has gotten blurred & sensitive to sunlight, especially when reflected off white (like the fence in my neighbors' yards) & the white on some computer pages, like this Amazon page & only experienced MINUTE improvement. I experimented a few days without the thyroid medicine to see how I would do by just taking the many different supplements & natural foods. I learned that I need the thyroid medicine, because my blurred vision was much much worse without it. So, I know the thyroid medicine helps a little bit with the blurred vision.My entire being is way out of balance. For example, I am about 15 - 20 pounds underweight; my vision is very sensitive to sunlight reflecting off white surfaces & white computer screens/pages & blurred; my joints hurt, especially my right wrist & ankle; & my memory is often foggy, which is why I have been trying different supplements, food, meditation, Paida Lajin (not enough time to do that properly), etc.Along with the supplements I take several different homemade concoctions using Turmeric; ginger; aloe vera gel (from my garden); lemon juice; apple cider vinegar with the mother; baking soda. The North American Herb & Spices products is new as of 10/26/2017, which I slowly added to my regime.I am also working on finding the right types of foods to consume & doing intermittent fasting when I can. I have tried several different ways of eating (I don't like the word diet) including gluten free. But, since gluten free is mostly processed foods and I am not sure about some of the ingredients I have cut back on gluten free foods.I walk regularly in sunlight for the Vitamin D & take 10K IU Vitamin D3/day. I have never liked exercising, but I do some yoga, weights & plank two or more times per week to rebuild lost muscle tone.I started taking OregaMax on 11/2/17 (1 capsule/day with food) a few days after starting ChagaMax (since I experienced upset stomach after taking 1 capsule the first time I switched to breaking open the capsule & taking 1/2 capsule in morning & 1/2 capsule in evening for a while; now I am able to take 1 capsule in morning & 1 in evening with no problems). Days later I started using the ChagaCream (Wild, Raw Chaga Muchsroom-Plus) on my face (now I'm using it all over my body); this is helping clear up the spots on my face, especially my cheeks.On Sat., 12/2/17 while waiting several hours for my auto at my local mechanic's shop I learned that I could increase the dosage of the OregaMax from reading "The Miracle of Wild Oregano," by Dr. Cass Ingram (page 12): "For best results these oils/capsules must be taken two or more times daily. In tough cases it may be necessary to take these doses four or five times daily. Also, in such high doses there is need to support the intestines with healthy bacterial supplements."By the way, I learned about these North American Herb & Spices products from watching Dr. Cass Ingram on YouTube. Very informative & encouraging.I don't remember for sure if I was able to take 2 caps by the time I got home on Saturday, but I definitely took 2 (1 in morning & 1 in evening) yesterday. So far today (Monday) I am feeling less pain in my right wrist. Today I have been able to lift a 3.0 quart pot with boiling water with more ease than I can remember in months. When I open and close my right hand the wrist and thumb area is feeling more flexible and less painful than in the past several months.I feel so much better that I wanted to take the time to write this review in case it could help someone else.Namaste.

I messed up and thought I was ordering the gel[oil]caps, and these are the bigger capsules of powder. They are harder to swallow and leave a bad taste when they hit your stomach!

Ever since I can remember, I've had blocked sinuses (75 years as of this writing). Although I've never been tested for allergies, several symptoms indicate I've had them most of my life; like itchy eyes that I don't dare rub unless I want to be seriously miserable. So it's highly possible allergies account for the fact that all my life I couldn't breathe properly (freely) through my nose. Enter a slim book called "The Cure Is In The Cupboard." The author, whose name I can't recall at the moment, listed OregaMax from North American Herb and Spice Company as a solution for certain sinus issues, and after 70 years of misery I decided to give it a try. I began with two capsules twice daily together with OregaNol (oil of wild oregano), and I can now breath through my nose comfortably during the day. It would be impossible overstate what a huge relief that is! (Breathing at night is another matter, which I attribute to a possible deviated septum.) About 6 months after beginning this regimen I stopped taking OregaNol (oil of oregano), and a few months later I cut the OregaMax down to 1 capsule twice daily as a maintenance dose. A couple of years later I tried cutting it in half again to 1 capsule per day, but in in a few days my nose was so stuffed up I couldn't breathe. Bottom line: For me, these Wild Oregano capsules verge on a near-miraculous remedy.For the record: This kind of oregano is not to be confused with or mistaken for "Mexican" oregano, a spice commonly used in Hispanic cooking. One has only to open the bottle to realize this variety is vastly different from the Mexican oregano we add to many of our Southwestern Mexican dishes.

This particular brand of oregano is healthy and delicious. But I never swallow the capsules!Instead I open the capsule or capsules and sprinkle the contents on my food. Why waste the good taste?I read about doing this years ago, and oregano is probably one of my very favorite spices . I like Mediterranean sardines, but some mediterranean sardine brands are way too salty for my health concerns. So I spice up the non-salty sardines with some of the delicious wild oregano from my capsules! YUMMY!!!!! : )

Most of us take supplements. For me, there is little dramatic event, but I know, through science and research that they do work. Therefore: We shouldn’t expect physiological responses to natural supplements as we would experience from a prescription medication designed for short term use per a specific medical issue. But this product, after just a few weeks has given me positive results that are more noticeable than most other supplements. Thank you.
