Q: I bought these and planted the seeds and now have a plant with chilis. How long do the chilis take to go from green to red once they are fully grown?

Hello! I did the same thing and from my experience, they do take quite a while to ripen to red. Most Thai peppers do take a long time to go from green to red. For me, it was around 1 ½ to 2 months to turn red from the green stage. Keep in mind that not all the peppers will want to ripen and will either dry out on the plant, or have blossom end rot. I think this was due to the fact that these seeds aren't necessarily sold and stored for the purpose of seed sowing. I did get a good harvest out of the plants in the end and the plants themselves remained fairly healthy and strong throughout the season. I hope this helps.

Q: Approximately how many peppers come in a bag? Need these for a red curry paste, but thinking I might need to grow my own to get a large quantity.

The peppers smaller than a California chili, larger than a jalepeno/chipotle. I'm guessing that there are 30-40 peppers, maybe more. Incidentally, I planted a bunch of the seeds from a package this spring and they grew. I'll have fresh Chifa's to play around with this simmer.

Q: What is the Scoville rating and type of this chili? You mention 3 types (Chinda, Keenu and Chifa) but don't specify which one this is.
