Sweet battery pack. Very solid and well built. Came with about 75% charge on it. I immediately took it out into the sun and watched the green light come on. This is a must-have for those times when the power may not be there or for when you are backpacking. Great for not only your phone but for GPS units, portable projectors, wearables, activity trackers, and so many other items that require charging while we are away from home. This is a home-run purchase!!! I'm so excited to take this on my next backpacking trip.

I take this everywhere with me! And it has come in handy several times.The solar panel doesn't really help at all. I would imagine it would take a week for it to charge itself all the way with the sunlight. However, I just stick with charging it up with the USB and using it when I need it. Keeps its charge really well.Update 08/29/17******************************************************************************The charger was very useful when it worked. However, it hasn't even lasted a year. It has now stopped charging. It says it's charging when it's in the sun, but it doesn't work. Now it won't even charge when plugged into the wall.This is NOT a reliable product.

I thought I was going to get a good deal purchasing this charger for my outdoor adventures but was not happy with the product’s performance... the item wouldn’t charge after being in the sun all day and only charged when you plugged it into the the AC power circuit... it looked well built but it bulged after I left it in the car on a warm day.... and since it was cheap I bought it as a backup charger but just wasted money on this one.Another issue was the light, which worked brightly but wouldn’t turn off after turning it on to use and would then drain the unit to the point that I stopped using the light so it could keep the product somewhat charged for my other devices.

Awesome charger! Works very well. This charger works best when charged with the cord. The solar function works best as a back up (camping, hiking) when you'll be away from a wall outlet. The solar charging is very slow (it's just the nature of solar really) and wouldn't be efficient for heavy phone use. This charger charges devices well and will obviously offer more charges to a smaller device and less on a larger one, but was able to fully charge my Macbook Pro on one charge, and my iPhone 6 could get around 2 charges depending on use while charging. Shipping was also very fast.The downside is that the instructions included are in very broken English. It's easy enough to figure out what's trying to be said but there are few sections I'm clueless as to the message they're attempting to send. Also, the clip that comes with it is VERY light and poorly made. If you were planning on clipping it to a backpack while hiking so that you could keep it charging while on the move, I'd recommend getting a much sturdier clip or another travel option for it. I don't even trust it to stay on my diaper bag.

The item worked great for nine days. The power indicator light flickered and the indicator for the amount of charge that is left - is now faulty. So very disappointed. I bought this for a family member who is homeless. This is her only option to charge her phone, which is her only protection at night. I'm not in a situation to return this defective product. I had it shipped to a friend near my "mom" who is currently homeless. I can't ask her to send it back without first receiving a new return label. However, then what does she use while waiting for new device? Please respond with your suggestions. Thank you so much for your valuable time and assistance.

These things have a problem with the small USB charging port. Everyone of these things have broken and are unusable. I tried to set the battery out in the sun but it takes a week of good sunlight to charge these things. The people that manufacture these things are nice people but the need to use a more robust part for charging these things. I'd like to give you guys a better rating but I can't. At least not until you improve your battery. Sorry

Okay, this gets two stars because while I did have it it did keep my phone charged.I got this, fully charged it my first day, and went out to the world with it. The solar panel part of the charger did not work at ALL! I would be out all day, and the sun being what it is in the state of California, and the solar panel did not work at ALL!I was still willing to keep it as it held a lot more of a charge then my other pocket power. Until it started coming off of the key ring clip that it's suppose to have. Which ends up being nothing more then a pressed down metal to clip onto pockets or pants. So, why the keyring if it won't STAY on the keyring? I didn't even have it for a month before it ended up popping off the keyring. I am not expecting it to come back to me either because of this.Thing to improve on, if you intend to add a key ring to make it more outdoors friendly, then make sure the part is completely enclosed and not a pressed down piece of metal in hopes it would stay. People taking this out into the environment don't want to loose it like I did.Also, remove that it's solar panel charger. The Solar panel part don't work at all, and is mis-leading information.Aside from that, it does gain a charge from AC-USB plugs pretty well, charging my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 1% every 30 seconds when powered off, and extended the life of my cell phone by 4 hours when on full bright mode and apps running.The white part, the flash light is really great. Really bright, and would flash S.O.S

We ordered this hoping to use it on a road-trip. We live in the sunny desert and thought it was a smart and cool device to use. However, the solar charger didn't soak up power well. We left it on our dash and window stills for several hours and it didn't even budge a bar. We were disappointed that we spent more time plugging it into the electrical outlet to charge it so we could use it on the road.
