Writing this review after month and a half. Initially a damaged piece was shipped. Upon returning, got a fresh one. Tawa has no corner elevation, which makes easy to remove or rotate dose. Thickness is more than regular prestige tawa, hence bit heavy. But heat distribution is even, tawa has not lost its shape until now with daily usage. Overall happy with this model. Bit over priced

This is one of its kind from Prestige (the only one without edges). Quality is good and dosas have come out nicely. Using it for both personal and commercial use

Background - I was looking for a dosa pan. I bought the one of the right(in the pic that has 3 dosa pans) before few months. While dosas were crispy, they were super thin and I had to use more oil. If i poured more batter, the corners were uncooked the dosa would tear. The heat wasn't getting distributed evenly in the pan, the center gets more heat. While initially we were excited about the super thin dosas, we wanted to eat crunchy dosas as in a restaurant. So my hunt began for a good dosa pan. I searched the site and browsed through a lot of pans.About this dosa pan(Prestige TTK OMG DLX Induction Base Non-Stick Aluminium Flat Dosa Tawa), the one on the left - I had my doubts while buying. While the reviews were good, I wished there were some pics to help me decide. I took the risk anyway. It arrived and I was excited to make yummy dosas(I hoped..). As I expected,1) the tawa was big, so you can make big dosas(I have placed a mug and a rolling pin on the pan which is on the right to compare the size, I was making dosas on prestige one that you see on the left so couldn't place anything on it to show you the size since it was hot).2) It doesn't stick to the pan. I was hesitant to buy the non-stick types coz I am not a big pan of the non-stick coating but this one was different. It looks and feels very promising. Anyway I hope my review and pics will help you decide. It's good!Note – the pan is flat. I got used to applying oil on the sides of the dosa but since this tawa is flat, one has to apply oil (if you want.. I think you can make without oil too since its non-stick but I didn’t try without oil) on the dosa towards the side. Its not concaved so if you apply oil on the pan, it will still remain on the pan.. Make sure you apply oil touching the dosa in the side otherwise it will be sitting on the pan separately without touching the dosa. Again it works without oil but I got used to making it with oil.

Scratches and damages on the nonstick coating. No quality control. after 2 replacement the products comes with scratches and coating damages only
