I purchased these before tackling the oil pan gasket on a truck with 275,000 miles. I knew I had a lot of gunk to contend with, so I thought I might go through half the dozen cans in this case. Alas, it took the whole dozen because this formula is weaker than other cans I’ve purchased in the past. I’m not even comparing to name brands- this is compared to store brands.I may give these another chance in the future and see if maybe I just got a bad batch, but for now three stars is the best I can muster.

If you're looking to clean up some dusty brake shoes or clean off excess brake fluid then this is the right product for you. It does great in this respect and dries quickly. However, if you're trying to clean off the greasy mess from a leaking axle seal or degrease an oil pan before replacing a gasket, this will leave you slightly disappointed. The price is good enough for me to buy more but I also realize it's limitations.

I have an old car restoration shop. After buying a case of 12, I just ordered a 48 pack. We have used many types of brake cleaner including the expensive stuff in 5 gal. containers that you charge the spray cans with......This is the best working and best value out of all that we have tried. Some other cleaners smell like crap and instantly give you a headache. This brand works for us, doesn't give us headaches and we will continue to purchase in the future. Thanks!

This product is worthless!!!! It hardly removes grease. I used two cans cleaning my tractor and it still was dirty. I used my AutoZone brake cleaner and it removed the grease. I would like my money back.
