Pros-Aide Adhesive - 2oz in Leakproof Nalgene Bottle

a bit tedious but the work pays off. i had a double mastectomy a few years ago and wear prosthetics. this keeps them in place (as long as i dont apply it over my scar directly) at least for a day, which is fine. can be a bit itchy after taking them off but im okay with that.

perfect hold

I use this to apply a ileostomy appliance ( poop bag ) to myself using Q-tips. I was having difficulty with the bags coming loose / off in 24 hours or less so I tried ordering a couple different brands of adhesives. So far, this one has worked the best and doesn't sting / hurt if my skin is irritated from a leak. It also releases nicely as I remove and replace my bag without hurting / tearing the skin without using adhesive removers. I do use two coats in that I've found that one isn't enough and it doesn't seem to hold any better / longer with 3 coats. I wish the bottle was flatter / shorter though because I accidently knocked over the first bottle when I was taking the Q-tip out, which was a great big sticky mess. I am considering transferring the liquid to a different bottle that has a wider base and larger opening.

This has a learning curve to use, but once it sticks, it sticks for good, and if you don't have the remover you'll have residues on you for days because it doesn't just wash off. You have to be very patient, allow it to dry well, do another part of your makeup while you're waiting, because if you rush it it won't stick properly. Also, try not to apply it with your fingers because, well, it will stick there, and as it dries it will be more and more difficult to get your fingers clean, and your fingers will stick to everything else, making the process very difficult if you have various prosthetics you need to attach. Once I learned how to use it, it lasted me all day during a convention, and I was sweating, running around, moving a lot. Never needed a retouch. Finally, the bottle may be small, but you don't need all that much either, so I think this will last me a long time. Worth the price versus spirit gum, that might be cheaper but I run through it very quickly because it just doesn't stick that well or last that long. Recommended.

The item arrived defective. Instead of being a liquid it was a dried, solid, hard, useless product. I requested a product swap, should be easy-peasy. Its been almost a month so I reach out and am told that Embellish FX has a policy of not sending out a replacement until they have the opportunity to inspect the defective product. I waited to return the defective product because Amazon told me the replacement had been shipped but "lost" which felt scammy to me so I waited. I am irritated that at no point did the seller reach out and notify me that they were waiting to send a replacement per their policy and then I went to take photos and realized that it has a price tag on it for $10 LESS than what they advertise on Amazon. Now I feel double scammed and no longer wish to do business with Embellish FX.

It could keep a spoon glued to my hand for way longer than I wanted it to be there but it didn’t work for what I actually bought it for. It is very liquidy.
