I have been keeping a daily journal in decomposition books for six years. The pages do not allow the black ink I use (Signo) to bleed through. The paper has a solid feel and has not yellowed in the years I have been using them. The covers are sturdy and attractive. The pages are bound well and sewn. At times (though not recently) the ribbon binding has detached a bit in spots, but once I fix this with a glue stick, the ribbon stays put. There are cheaper notebooks and also much more expensive notebooks available, but I am faithful to these for their aesthetic and their quality.

I like the size of these. Plenty of pages, a little sturdier and heftier than regular composition books, with a twist. I have ordered multiple times.

I recently made the mistake of buying a knockoff decomposition notebook. It was so flimsy, and the paper was almost slick. These notebooks, the real thing, are my favorite things to write in. I use them for my morning pages, and when they're full I sometimes go back and collage through them. They hold up beautifully to lots of different materials. I don't think I'll ever be without at least one.

Been buying these notebooks for years. Love the high quality of the cover and thick pages inside. Much more expensive, but also better than your typical composition book. Whether you're buying a journal or a notebook for class, having a high quality notebook will give you more incentive to actually use the notebook you've purchased.

This is a good sturdy composition book. I had ordered 8 different composition notebooks and this one is the best quality. It has a heavy cardboard cover. The others I ordered are bound like a cheap paper back book with a thin cover.

Product came with something perfumed and easy melted into party of the cover and pages, but it was shipped out with other items anyway. No quality control. To much hassle to replace or refund it.

I have long admired sustainable companies of all sorts, and decomposition notebooks are another example of common commodities done better! The notebooks are your standard affair (though the designs are anything but!), and durable so far as I can attest. I ran into a bit of shipping trouble and had to contact the seller, however, this mishap was shortly rectified, and the contact was swift and efficient! Fantastic!

I got my first Decomposition Book in the USA, all the other ones from amazon. I love every single design and the paper is just right for all he notes you need to take in daily life. I used them for college (roughly 1,5 books for each semester). The coilbound books are almost a tiny bit better than the other ones - in terms of flexibility. I just love them and can't get enough. Great gifts too!

Love this book. I bought one for a friend and it came and was so sturdy and well spaced and actually pretty darn gorgeous, that I had to buy one for myself too. It folds open nicely when writing in, the paper is excellent quality and holds ink well without smudging or blotting, and the cover is beautiful and receives comments frequently. Have marked this down to buy more of the exact same as needed. I'm actually trying to find needs just so I can buy more! Totally recommended.

Love the pattern of this Decomposition book. I like the size and thickness as well. Pairs well with books and/or laptop and enough pages to get you through longer subjects without needing to split notes between many smaller notebooks. No spiral means great for a lefty too!
