NXTSTEP PERFORMANCE Axle Back Exhaust compatible 1997-2004 C5 Chevy Corvette

This exhaust system is probably the best out there for C5’s in terms of value. Good quality stainless steel, nice welds. The exhaust sounds good at start up and when getting on it. There is NO drone that I can hear. The exhaust is pretty mild around town it takes some RPM’s to get the real tone out. there is a little back pressure popping when down shifting, but I actually like that. Some don’tPlease note this is no Corsa exhaust system..but it is half the price so in my opinion it’s worth itOnly issue I had was fitment. Took a bit of work to tips straight and true

Awesome kit can't beat the price and they look so good on my C5. Sound amazing not too loud at idle or cruise but nice throaty sound when you step on it.

This exhaust sounds very aggressive! It has a deep sound and it feels like I'm driving a different car now. It will make you push the pedal a lot more! Same with downshifting.. Just love that sound. Thanks

THANK GOD I am a retired aircraft mechanic with a complete fabrication shop at my disposal...the right side slipped on in less than 10 minutes, and 8 hours later I had managed to cut bend and weld the left side so it would fit. NOT for the faint hearted or lacking of a car lift. Sounds great though, and I'm sure my experience was unique. It ALWAYS is. FML

This exhaust is top notch! No drone and after a few hundred miles it sounds great. I think it's doable for road trips too, a nice rumble at 80mph not bad. How a vette should sound like.
