It was not white as expected and as shown in the picture. The doll and box was a dingy off-white color that was very noticeable at the initial glance. It looked as if it was very old or as if it had been in smoke of some sort (note there was not a smokey smell) . I gave it an "okay" rating only because my daughter (a new bride) "said" it was OK and she didn't mind, but I was somewhat disappointed.
