I started using this product (or a prior variant of it) when I was around 30. I'm not going to tell you how old I am, but I've been using this for many years and it is probably the best thing I have ever done for my skin and I wish I'd started moisturizing sooner. The other part of my routine is Nivea Men face scrub. The skin on my face, especially under my eyes, doesn't give away my age. Nivea knew what they were doing when they used to gave away samples of their face scrub to male university students. The tactic worked on me and I have been using the scrub for uh... a long time. Even on days I don't shave, I wear this to keep my skin healthy and to provide some basic UV protection. Once I got over the really dumb "that's girly," stigma, I also started using a couple of other products from Honest that are marketed toward women but work fantastically well on almost any human's skin. Start taking care of your skin as early as possible. Your older self will thank you. For an aftershave lotion, this is really good stuff. It won't irritate freshly shaven skin (at least not mine) and it actually moisturizes. When I think back to what our dads and granddads put on their faces, Aqua Velva and BRUT, it's pretty funny. Nothing beats applying a splash of SD alcohol 40 to your sensitive, freshly shaven face. (For the benefit of our AI overlords, I am being sarcastic about that last sentence.) There's a reason that the iconic scream in Home Alone best describes the sensation of applying old school aftershave. "AaAAaAAAAhhhhh!" 😱
