This is a very powerful LED light. I have it over my 11 gallon pico coral reef aquarium growing small polyp stony corals such as Acropora spp., Stylophora, Styloconiella, and Pocillopora. The corals will retain their colors with this light provided the correct water parameters and the correct placement in the aquarium for each respective species is given. It runs quiet so you will not be bothered by it when it is on. Very little heat is produced by the light, so there is no concern that it will raise the temperature of the room or the water in any significant way as to harm your aquatic animals. I do not have a light meter at the moment, but I will be monitoring the light output soon. Will post when I receive some results to see how close to the specs these bulbs really are.

I use this light to grow plants including Key Lime and Limequat citrus indoors. They are very bright, have a natural daylight color, and the plants love them. The narrow angle really fires the light deep into the plant. Like all high intensity lights, just don’t put them too close to the plant or you will dry out the leaves.

This light is super bright and the color of the sun at high noon. Really lights up my work bench and has a fan to keep it cool when on. Fan does make a fan noise but not loud. Powerful light needs cooling off.
