This is a great little expandable drawer organizer by Yoousoo. It’s only 2 inches deep and has side tabs that are made to hang over top of the drawer edges so you can also store things underneath it. Or you can just set it inside the drawer, facing either side to side or front to back. It could also be placed on a shelf or inside a cabinet. This drawer organizer is narrow at about 10 inches wide, and it extends from 11 to 18 inches long. The extension tabs lock into place snugly so they won’t come apart. I extended it all the way and took out most of the dividers to fit long kitchen utensils on a shallow shelf inside a narrow cabinet. I just pull it out to get what I want. It’s made of sturdy plastic that holds up well even when fully extended.

I organized drawers at work and this worked great.

My office recently moved into a different building and part of the moving process dictated that furniture on both ends would remain in place. That meant, for me at least, I moved into an office with a desk whose drawers have no "pen tray" of any kind - just big empty rectangles to put all your office stuff in.Checked with our supply folks and there isn't a compatible drawer insert available, so I did some searching on my own and that led me to this item, the "YOOUSOO Expandable Drawer Organizer, Adjustable Drawer Organizer Tray, Drawer Dividers Organizers and Storage For Office Supplies, Pens, Makeup,Utensils, Tools, Flatware and Junks, Plastic, White." Currently this item is listed at 29% off the original list price of $16.00, making this insert only $11.99.Personally, $12 for a drawer insert seems kind of pricy, but after checking various sites, I suppose it's not so outlandish - they seem to range from under $10 (for mostly really useless tiny organizer pieces) all the way up to the $30s (and higher). After discovering that, $12 doesn't seem so bad.I love that this organizing insert expands - it can be utilized in more than a single drawer width (or potentially depth, depending on the drawer). Further, the edges have a great little "lip" to hang from and in my personal case, that meant I was able to connect the edges to the file-folder hanging piece and actually USE the drawer. But the "lip" is wide enough that I could take this insert back home and use it in my kitchen (where I do not have a file-folder hanging piece) and connect it directly to the edges of the drawer itself. Handy.
