B-8PTD 8" Powered Subwoofer

Nice compact unit. Easy to set up (as easy as setting up a sub can be, at least.). The audio isn't window rattling. It won't wake the neighbors. However it rounded out my Sony aftermarket head unit very nicely and added a little thump and bass that didn't exist after I installed the new head unit. Well worth the price, in my opinion.

I'm impressed!!! I don't normally write reviews but so far I am very pleased with this little sub! I see what all the good reviews are about. Surprising amount of bass from such a small box! It feels tough and I am definitely amazed at the tight, clean bass this produces once dialed in. It won't break any windows or reproduce ridiculous low frequencies, but it pretty much adds just the right amount of low end to the music inside my TJ. I installed it under the rear seat of my 99 Jeep Wrangler TJ (right next to my 300 watt Jensen amp that's running the Kickers in my sound bar) and it fits perfectly. I worried it wouldn't be happy facing directly into the bottom of the rear seat (literally right up against the bottom of the seat), but it works out great! Happy!!!

Great system…. BUT it doesn’t last over 2 years! Second one I bought and the same problem occurred after 2 years. It just stopped working! Bummer.

DOD , wouldn't play at first but then turned on at some point during the rechecking of my work..... for about 60s. Then turned on again for another 60 seconds a half hour later. Dead On Arrival. Sent it back and spent more for the same size .

Add this unit to my 2006 Nissan Frontier. Limited space so this works nicely. I am on my second unit. The first one stopped working after 2 years(really enjoyed it). I ordered another and it really helps fill in some bass with my after market upgrade.. head unit and door speakers... can't beat it for the price and simplicity. If you wqnt earth shattering bass... not for you.

This is my second purchase of this sub woofer. Sound Ordnance is actually the Crutchfield brand. The last one finally wore out after about seven years. It fits perfectly under my Jeep JKU rear seat and finished the sound in the vehicle. Being a self powered sub there are no additional amps needed. I accompanied it with a Kicker 4-channel amp, a Pioneer head unit and Pioneer speakers. It provides a solid base sound without rattling your teeth and really helps make it a jukebox on wheels when the top is down.

So far so good! We installed the B-8PTD in her car as a birthday present and she loves it. Excellent thump for such a small size and price. My daily driver has a separate amp/8"sub setup that cost 3x as much, and it isn't much better. The only thing I've noticed that fits the low price is how the label plates (around the switches and wire connections) are poorly stuck to the case beneath, and start to come unstuck and lift away. It's as if the adhesive they used isn't meant for car conditions.

I never had a subwoofer in my car and I didn’t wanted to go with anything too crazy so I went with this. Oh man I was surprised by how much this kicks! I still to adjust it because the bass is overpowering my door speakers. Overall this is a good system and would recommend to anyone wanting enrich the cab.
