I bought my Boom Beauty sticks about 2 months ago, and I love them! I will be throwing out all of my old "makeup", except for my Boots No7 waterproof mascara and brow gel.This product is NOT makeup. Every Boom Stick is made from wonderfully rich feeling moisturizers. I saw some reviews complaining that the moisture stick was hard and waxy with no real color to it. Well, this product is not supposed to cover up flaws, it enhances your own beauty and puts highlights in places that trick the eye into not noticing things like dark circles and crows feet. I have been using base makeup and concealer for years. In the last 7 to 5 years, from my late 50's into my 60's, concealer and foundation, regardless of what I tried, or how much I spent, it just laid on top off my skin and ended up creasing under my eyes, and around my nose. The worse thing about it was I looked like I had makeup on and it failed to do its job, just flaky and yucky looking. 😞 I do not have that problem with my Boom Sticks. My skin loves the moisture, and I never have any creases or flaky skin foundation around my nose and eyes.There is a bit of a learning curve to applying the moisture stick. I use slight pressure when I apply it with upward motions, and keep track of where I have applied or not applied it. Because it has no pigment, just glowing moisture you can't really see on your skin unless the light is just right. You don't want to push too hard, nor apply too much around your hairline. I have layered shoulder length straight hair, and when I applied too much my fly away hairs kind of stuck to it. You don't want to apply the sticks too quickly because the warmth of your skin actually helps with the application.I purchased the Blush Stick in Rose Nude, Highlighter Stick & Moisture Stick Trio. I use the moisture all over my face, then apply the Rose Nude on my cheek bones, about 3 strokes, and then on the fold of my eyelids down to the eye, one stroke. I sometimes dot a little of the Rose Nude on the straight of my nose, bottom of my chin and on my cupid's bow. I use my highlighter stick on the top of my eyelids up to my brows, then across the top of my cheek bones right into the Rose Nude "blush", then a small bit down the straight of my nose, and on my cupid's bow. Less is more with the highlighter, otherwise it is too shiny for my liking. I then use my fingers to lightly blend in the color and highlighter on my eyelids, cheek bones, nose, cupid's bow and chin. I bought a Berry Boom Stick separately in case the Rose Nude was too light to use for blush, but the Nude Rose works perfectly for blush, and I use the Berry on my lips. The result is a dewy glowing complexion. I tried the Boom waterproof mascara, but was very disappointed with it. It did not stand up to the moisture the sticks leave on your face, and smeared. I returned it and I am using my No7 waterproof mascara which does not smear with my Boom Sticks.

Shipped quickly. I'm fair skinned, my mother has an olive complexion, and it looks great on both of us. I'm happy with the ingredients and it stays on throughout the day (unless I use it for lip color- it's not a stain so needs to be reapplied if I care that day)

All I know is that when I wear this, people tell me that the color of whatever shirt or sweater I'm wearing looks great on me. I hear this over and over. I take this to mean that they are really seeing the color on my cheeks, which is PERFECT now thanks to my Boom Stick.The stuff is magic. Don't hesitate.

This product is actually wonderful. I also have the cheaper off-brand type of these cosmetics, and they aren’t bad. However, you do get what you pay for. The product texture is creamy and smooth and blends like a dream. The color complemented and brightened my skin tone. It’s lovely. However, I do have to knock a star off for packaging. It was placed in a thin envelope rather than anything sturdy or with bubble wrap, so my blush arrived with a vertical fracture all the way down and was partially disconnected from the base. Still useable, but kind of a pain.

its small but packs a punch. Goes on smoothly and can layer easily. Will buy again. I am 73.

Have used this product daily for several years! Glad I can now purchase on Amazon!

I have been a fan of Boom by Cindy Josef for a long time. Love the boom stick for my lips as a moisturizer and other boom products for how natural they look and the ease of adding a little color to my face. Great products.

I really love my Boomsticks and use them everyday, but my Boomstick Color has gone really rancid. I can't hardly stand it. It now smells like old theatre or old play makeup. This isn't cheap blush and I have loved everything about it until this happened, it should stay smelling normal until it's all gone especially if using it every day. I'm hoping the manufacture/Cindy Joseph will replace it for me!. My Boomstick Glo sticks never go rancid, just the Boomstick Color one.
