Q: Can these lights be hung outside as Christians lights in the snow

Depends how much it is snowing and how many Christians you’re lighting.

Q: what size are the firework lights?

Mine is packed away right now, so I can only approximate. When the fiberoptics are all folded out to make a "ball", I'd say it's about 10-12 inches across.

Q: Where does the battery case is relative to the star? I want to hang it from the ceiling over our Xmas tree as topper but don’t want the case to show

The battery case has a hook on it and the wire to the light is long enough to make the star a complete circle. If you want to make it a topper, maybe put the battery case on a tree branch and attach a stick to the wire to keep the light standing on top of the tree.

If you use it for 8 hours a day, a fully charged battery will make it work for about 8-10 days.
