Himalayan Dog Chew, The Original Yak Cheese Dog Chews, 3 Small Yak Chews

The Himalayan Dog Chew Original Yak Cheese Chew is a fantastic natural treat for keeping dogs entertained. These small chews are surprisingly long-lasting and hold up well even with enthusiastic chewers. My dog stays engaged for a long time, and I like that it’s made with simple, natural ingredients without any artificial additives. It also doesn’t create a mess or strong odor, which is a big plus. Once it gets too small, it can even be microwaved into a crunchy puff for a final treat. Great value with three chews included, and perfect for small dogs who love to chew.

They all love these. Keeps them from chewing on other things!

I have 2 dogs under 20 pounds each. One is a very particular dog. Only interested in small plush chew toys. Hot meals served while you stand guard. The other will eat and play with anything. Everything is food in his eyes. He is an aggressive chewer. He has eaten chunks off of multiple toys, most recently a Kong which he later threw up. We needed a chew that he could actually chew and play with and, ultimately, eat safely. I'd never heard of cheese chew toys, but figured why not? Just gave aggro chewer this chew, and he has not put it down. I had expected it to be softer for some reason, but I was very pleasantly suprised. It is a rock hard, solid chew toy that is standing up to him. I am impressed. My dog of particular tastes has also not put his down. He NEVER takes to anything this fast. I started to pet him, and he growled a warning at me which was new. We've come to an understanding now. They both have been sitting chewing all day and playing keep away we us and each other. So far, they've barely dented either. These are now absolutely added to our dogs rotation.

My dog loves them but they don’t last long. Not durable for strong chewers.

I watched my friend's dogs go crazy over these Himalayan Dog Chew Original. They are a good size thick enough for even the strongest chewers. My own little dog couldn't steal them fast enough and stash them away in her hiding spot. They are tough enough for strong chewers and last quite a bit. Unfortunately they are too big for my little dog but she tries. Please make these for little dogs. I tried to cut the chew with a serrated knife but couldn't even make a dent in it. They do last! Chewability is probably just right, keeps giving them a yummy flavor little by little but keeps the chew pretty much intact for days. They do not seem to upset their tummy.

I gave these three stars instead of five, because the cost of these are high and they only put three chews in a bag for $12.00! Would it be too much to ask to put four chews in the bag? I have two dogs so after I give them one each, there’s only one left. Ridiculous. Otherwise my dogs love these, and they take a long time to chew down, and I love that it keeps them busy.

Hard as a rock for those chewers, they are a little big for my dachshunds so I had to break them down, but they’ll eventually get them chewed up. Recommend giving them a try.

My dogs loved these chews. They lasted about 15 minutes and I have some heavy chewers. They didn’t have an overwhelming odor and it was easy for my dogs to digest - no upset bellies here! I like that when the bones get small, I can microwave the ends so they’re able to eat the entire bone and I don’t have to worry about them choking.

Not durable – breaks into small pieces too easily

Economici rispetto altri

I have two French Bulldogs who have two reactions to long-lasting treats - they either a) turn their noses up and don't touch them (antlers, rawhide, pigs ears) or b) they destroy them in 2 seconds flat (dried chicken fillets, dentastix, rice bones) so I was looking for something that would appeal to their picky little taste-buds but take them awhile to get through. I tried the Himalayan chews on a whim and honestly wasn't expecting much joy but to my amazement both my Frenchies went nuts over them - in fact one of them carried her chew around in her mouth for most of the day and buried it in her bed when she was called upon to go for a walk. The chews are lasting them approximately a week (with dedicated daily chewing) and not only have they shown no signs of tiring of them, but a couple of doggie visitors have also discovered them and their owners now have them on their shopping lists too!

I ordered the SMALL size for a small dog, but a Large size was delivered which is too big for my dog to chew on. So its a total waste of money. This really is theft.
