Not long lasting.
Stopped counting water flow just after a year of use. The plastic fittings are also prone to leaking and took quite of bit of work to stop leaking, finally used some pipe dope to help.

It is a worth while investment.
Saves the question about how much the filter is actually filtering. I discovered that either 3M is not correctly representing the number of gallons it's filters will treat or my city water is so bad I must be filtering a lot of stuff out of the water. My 2000 gallon filter shuts down after 400-500 gallons. I am tracking this new filter with the DigiFlow and when I speak to 3M next time instead of getting blown off by customer service I'll have actual data.I plan on putting a larger model on my whole house system this summer.

Doesn't Work
Our first one stopped working after a few days. Returned it and they sent a new one. The second one stopped working after a few days. Didn't want to deal with it anymore because we ended up spending more on the plumber than the product is worth.

Works as advertised
I needed a lot of teflon tape to prevent leaking but it may have had to do with the fittings. Using to measure flow so I know when to replace water filter cartridges.
