Nice for anything
The Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Turbo Spray Rusty Metal Primer worked perfectly for my project! It provided excellent coverage and did a great job preparing rusty metal surfaces for painting. The flat brown color blends well with rusted areas and creates a smooth base for the topcoat. The Turbo Spray System is a huge plus because it covers large areas quickly and evenly, saving both time and effort. The spray nozzle is easy to use, and the primer goes on smoothly without excessive dripping or clogging. Once dry, it created a solid, durable foundation that helped the final paint coat adhere much better. Overall, this is a high-quality primer that's perfect for restoring metal furniture, tools, fences, and other rusty surfaces. I would definitely buy it again and highly recommend it!

Great idea, worked well
I used this on my basement bulkhead. Love how easy it was to use and how fast it is. I took percussions and masked of the area so I did not spray the side of my house and it worked just as I wished. Seems to have lasted the winter too so almost 1 year in and still holding strong.

Way too fast of spray! My least favorite paint application method for Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Primer
These spray way too fast to be controlled properly, and it is made worse by the fact that 2 of my 6 cans had issues where it would spray intermittently, leaving a choppy coverage. The intermittent spray is forgiveable in small cheap cans, but at almost $18 a can, I can't afford for these turbo cans to not work right. The standard 12 ounce cans are easier to control and more consistent BUT they are super slow and take forever. Rust-Oleum needs something between the two options, something that also works with their awesome (highly recommended) comfort grip for spray cans. (The 5 in one spray cans don't work with the comfort grip) I also don't understand why they charge more per ounce of paint for these large cans than for their smaller cans?? Who in the world is running the show at Rust-Oleum, they need to hire some MBA's or something. Or fire their MBA's, I'm not sure which... My favorite spray can of theirs is the 15 ounce Rust-Oleum Professional primer can (which works with the comfort grip) but the color was slightly off compared to the Rust-Oleum Stops Rust flat brown primer. After going through about 20 12 ounce standard Stops Rust primer cans, 12 of these 24 ounce turbo cans, and about 18 of the professional primer cans, I think I settled on the one quart stops rust liquid cans of paint (not spray cans) being the best option overall and the best coverage area per dollar spent.

motorcycle trailer repaint
Had my motorcycle trailer sand blasted and put two coats of this down, the key is the Turbo aspect of these cans, they do empty quickly, but it puts down nice coverage quickly. Trailer is 7x14 and covering the deck and sides ended up easy. I used the truck bed liner for the final deck finish in the same style cans. It can have a few drips if you're reaching over your "target". I wish they made a "shaking mount" for these guys, if I could hook it up to my sawzall... that would have made the process even quicker!
