What is the size of this license plate frame?

It's on my car so I can't measure it but it is just about the same size as the plate and not much bigger. This is a great product btw.

Can you use a plastic bubble protector cover on it also ?

You should be able to. However, be aware that the license plate slides into grooves cut into the inside of the top and bottom of the frame. So, your bubble protector cover will have to be placed on the outside of the frame, with the license plate inside the frame, increasing the overall thickness of the installation. Make sure the screws are long enough. The screws shipped with the frames are pretty long.
