I'm incredibly happy with this purchase.Previously I used waterproof wire-nuts for my irrigation timer wire for my sprinklers. The wire nuts would somehow fall off; it seemed every time the gardener came.I tried a couple of other brands of quick-connect; including one that did not require any spicing and had built in waterproofing; but they proofed unreliable.I've had great success with the WAGO 221 in-line connectors. They were super easy to install and I like that they are reusable. I was able to water proof them with the WAGO Gelbox 207. I found that one gelbox held 3 connectors and I needed a separate gelbox to hold the groundwire connector where I used the 5 terminal version. (I only needded 3, but ChatGPT recommended I get the 5 for dependability).At first I thought it would be difficult to deal with seperate in-line connectors and gelbox for the water proofing; but after doing the installation I can say this was the easiest and fastest of the solutions. My connections feel solid, protected and if I ever need to change the wiring I can do so without buying new connector hardware!Also I was concerned that the gel boxes would be too big or cumbersome, but that turned out not to be the case at all. The gel boxes fit nicely around the connectors are are not bulky.

This has been especially useful when I need to adjust or troubleshoot circuits without cutting off wire ends.A small downside is that they’re a bit bulkier than a standard wire nut, so in very tight boxes you have to plan ahead. That said, the tradeoff in ease of use and reliability is worth it.Overall, these connectors are a fantastic choice for anyone who wants a cleaner, safer, and more efficient way to splice wires. Once you try them, it’s hard to go back to the old way.

Love these lever-nuts. So much easier to use than twist-on wire connectors. They provide confidence that the connections are safe and secure. Of course, I am not a professional, but I highly recommend these for the average DIYer ! They come in a variety of sizes depending on your needs.

Bought these for a 3d printer build. Worked great for the small spaces and make it super easy to rout the wiring cleanly around the machine to keep it looking professional. Super easy to use and great bang for your buck.

I love these things.This particular type can connect solid core copper to copper strand wires, no problem. Each one gets its own slot you stick it into, where it comes to rest on top of a common bar that connects the 2 sides. Then flip down the latches and the wires are held firmly in place on/against the common metal bar between them.I've got other ones that dont have a flip handle, where you just force the solid wire past a tight locking piece and it holds great. But cant use these on copper strand wires (like lamp cords, etc)So these are just good for connecting 2 wires (like installing a new smoke detector, solid copper in the ceiling electrical box, braided wire in the detector. They can be safely and easily joined.For adding a new wire to an existing line, get the one of these with 3 holes. Cut the wire you want to splice into, then insert both its ends into 2 of the 3 slots (so its connected to itself again), and add the new wire you are splicing in into the 3rd slot. All 3 wires are laying on and being held in place on the common bar that connects them.Also very handy when you dont have much room for larger wire nuts, or not much slack in the wire you want to splice into. These do not require inches of bared wire to be twisted into a wire nut. Just slip about half an inch of each end of the wire into the hole, verify its all the way in, then flip down the handle to hold in place.I've seen some folks then tape over the latches after closing them so they dont accidently get flipped open when stuffing it back into the electrical box. But from my experience, it takes some effort to open those. Still, taping the latches down is not a bad idea, and I have done it in cases where space was tight.

These were invaluable when doing a recent DIY renovation in my garage. So easy to use, simply click it onto the wire, no more messing around with electrical tape etc. so small and easy to store - would recommend
