JacobsJACOBS 30248 CHK&KEY 1/4 ADPT A DR CD

This is the second one I've owned this one won't be loaned, You can't beat Jacobs quality of the drill chucks and this is no exception this is the perfect set when you need to drill using the small wire gauges drill bit and slower speeds you get from a cordless screwdriver. couldn't live without it you can buy cheaper ones but you get what you pay for.

Needed a chuck for my DeWalt impact driver so I could use drill bits without a hex shank. The chuck itself is fine, however the hex shaft it doesn't fit tightly in the drill. It wobbles even by hand, without a bit in it. Put a bit in there and try to drill, and it's walking 1/4 inch. Useless, going in the trash. Don't waste your money on this; spend the extra and get the one that goes with your drill.

This chuck is exactly what I was looking for and a well made product. I use it in a right angle drill attachment to get in close places with small drill bits.

Seems decent quality. Important note, DOES NOT FIT into a round 1/4" collet as in a CNC router. Which is what I bought it for. I'm sure it fits fine into the 3-jaw chuck of a drill press or hand drill.The product description should say not to use this for CNC routers or other devices which expect a 1/4" diameter round shank.

These use to be made of really good quality, me and some of my coworkers bought them in September and in 3 Months all of ours has broke in the exact same way. The Teeth that holds the bits just break off one day. Can’t recommend these no more

Bought for my M12 screwdriver. Needed the option for using non hex type drill bits. Quality build. Note - almost all hex to chuck heads say do NOT reverse your bit driver as I think it will unscrew the shaft from the chuck. Loctite makes a military version that once it sets up it won't come apart - used for missiles. Think I might look into it.

I needed a small chuck that I could put in a right angle adapter. Many people complained about the cheaper models, saying they fell apart or had severe runout. This chuck is solidly built, and I can see no runout whatsoever. It will tightly hold bits at least as small as a #60, maybe smaller. It is well worth the money.

Exactly what I wanted. I needed a way to turn my Dewalt 8V screw driver into a drill for small holes in an emergency because I did not want to carry around my drill. This did the trick. Obviously a driver doesn't turn as fast as a drill, so it takes a little longer to drill a hole, but it gets the job done. Seems to be very high quality.

Works as described and arrived quicker than expected!
