After being duped by a dodgy seller on her selling so called food grade stainless steel sprouter I had almost given up "trying" again to find a REAL ONE and I came across this sellers item! Its 10000000000000% GENUINE stainless steel its SO sturdy and I havent weighed it but it feels like its about 3kgs in weight so VERY VERY sturdy! I know how to sprout so know this will be PERFECT in my kitchen and I can ditch the other crap one and I will be investing in another of this sprouter.The only surprising thing was its BIGGER than I imagined for the price I paid so I was SO EXCITED its almost the size of a small dinner plate its about 22cm in diameter and about 14.5cm in height! My review is in detail because I don't like seeing other customers ripped off with dodgy CHEAP rubbish like I was, and I want you to know THIS ITEM is the REAL thing and I wish you all success growing your own healthy foods.HAPPY SPROUTING! PS I am in Australia and the postage time to me was PROMPT as it arrive a week earlier than they said it would so HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SELLER to buy from.

This works so well! For the first time I m actually able to grow micro greens. Other trays and mats didn’t work half as good. You can soak, rinse , water and grow the sprouts, all with the same system. Sure it takes a bit of scraping to clean it all up for the next batch, but that’s to be expected. . .but the product is solid, of excellent quality and performs as advertised! I don’t understand bad reviews in this case

After buying some cheaper versions and being disappointed, I splurged on the SOLIGT trays. These trays are designed better, with thicker stainless steel and no sharp metal that can potentially cut you. They are stainless steel and have not rusted, unlike other brands that falsely list their trays as stainless steel. I hope to buy more in the future, but they are expensive. I wish you could buy them with just one mesh tray instead of two. As the sprouts grow and you put them under light, both trays need a bottom tray, so the second tray is useless.

I just got this Soligt SS Seed Sprouter, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality. The mesh is sturdy and just right for sprouting. The base and lid and the two mesh trays all fit perfectly together. I don't buy sprouting seeds on Amazon (I use Sprout People for their high quality), but for the equipment, this is really perfect. I can have two crops of sprouts growing with varying dates of completion, and because it all stacks neatly together, I can keep my sprouts tidy in the kitchen. For my first batch (I haven't gotten my big seed mixes from my supplier yet) I used a half cup of lentils in one tray, and a half cup of mung beans in the other tray. I soaked overnight in cool water, and then poured them into their trays. You can rinse right in the tray, shake off all the extra water, then stack them up again for another 8-12 hours. Volume Planning: 1 cup is 16 Tbsp. Lentils and mung beans yield about 2:1, meaning that they double (or more) in volume when they are newly sprouted. Even more if you let the sprouts grow into microgreens. For smaller seed sprouts like alfalfa (7:1 yield) or broccoli sprouts (4:1 yield), the mass of sprouted seeds is many times greater than the original mass, so I'll use way smaller volume of seed for those crops: Broccoli sprouts: use just under a quarter cup of seed per tray Alfalfa sprouts: use ~2 Tbsp seeds per tray If you're not sure about yields, check out sprout people's site for nutrition and yield info.
