FSABB-6000 MegaExo Cartridge Sealed BB English

This BB was the OEM BB that came w/my Bacchetta Corsa and it has been a great bearing. I ran the original for 7 years. It was ready to be replaced but it was still pretty smooth. The 2nd one I ran 5 years and decided to replace the BB again. Tho traces of grease from the sealed bearing was sooty black the bearing felt silky-smooth with no sign of imminent failure. Between the first two BB's I racked up 20000 miles on the bike! I just installed the 3rd BB and yes, I stayed with using this bearing. Good to go!

Light weight, quiet and smooth. I had to remove the drive side seal to be able to tighten my FSA Gossamer cranks down to spec, but luckily they came with a thinner seal to put in place so that may be a normal thing for all I know. It was not mentioned anywhere on their site or in the provided instructions. Once I figured it out I have had no further issues.

Good bottom bracket to replace my OEM part. Just what I expected and I am sure it will provide me with many more miles.

Grease is ur friend. If you don't use grease on any crank n bottom bracket you will get noise. You should grease bb at least once a year regardless what your running.These have worked perfect no noises and for the price its a great set up.

In my experience, the problem with Megaexo external type bottom brackets is that they have a relatively short lifespan Compared to the old bomb proof square tapers or isis or octalinks. Fortunately for us, they are not very expensive. I really like how they perform and the relatively light weight aspect. I replaced my old bb thinking it was messed up since ive put around 5000 miles on them, but they just needed to be regreased. If you are a home mechanic please make sure you use the proper tools.

This is the third one of these that I have replaced on my road bike. I've gotten around 5000 miles out of each of them. It is relatively inexpensive and easy to replace, so I bought another one.

I just got this and replaced the old one which I destroyed in less than 2 months(I road in snow and slush and salt). I have had bottom brackets last over 15 years without a squeak. Let's see if this one holds up. I torqued it down right, sounds smooth ,time will tell.

It fit perfectly, quality seems good, I just find it expensive
